On the 14 Aug 2020, I contacted Lelo to provide domestic cleaning services for the pre occupation of my home,she requested payment of R970 and an additional amount of R170 for hanging of curtains, I made payment and she agreed that her staff will be at my home at 9am on the morning of the 15 August 2020. I was not asked to sign any agreements and no terms of service was communicated to me. On the 15 th I received a WhatsApp message from Lelo indicating that her staff are running late and will arrive at 9:15 ,they arrived at 9.31 am not prepared ,not in uniforms, did not greet or introduce themselves instead stood around with one bucket ,one broom and a mangy bin feathered feather duster to be shared between 3 ladies. They stood outside speaking loudly on their phones,I contacted Lelo indicating that I am not happy with the ladies provided ,they looked young ,inexperienced and where extremely impolite. It was agreed that Lelo would refund me,after notifying the ladies that still stood outside my house screaming on their phones before making their way.on Monday morning I received an ewallet from Lelo forR1000 when enquired why they payment was short she indicated that the shortfall is a penalty ,a penalty that is not noted on her website and that was not ever communicated ?she was rude and abrupt screaming at us on a call indicating we can do as we wish she will not refunds us ,please do not use her service you will regret it and be charged penalties as per her discretion.
