The Palace Shuttle Service A Huge Disgrace - December 2024

We stayed at The Palace twice in 2023 and it was awesome. We returned in December 2024 and our anniversary weekend was ruined by the awful shuttle service. The shuttles were not branded as before, no air-conditioning, torn upholstery and the passenger seat even had a metal piece that poked my husband in the back. The wait was around 40 minutes even after calling the hotel. I even had to share the shuttle with staff the first day as the driver stopped twice to pick up cleaning staff. When we complained to the front desk, they said they knew about the problem. I don't know how this all went to hell in just a year but spending your whole weekend waiting for a bus is incredibly frustrating!!! Instead of feeling special for staying at The Palace, we envied the vacation club as they had nice looking shuttles that came by very often. Not going back this year!!!! Huge disappointment and waste of money!
