You can teach an old dog new tricks!
What a delicious fresh take on this business which had gotten so tired and tatty a couple of years back. It looks amazing. The staff are amazing and the breakfasts utterly outstanding. Well done to the new owners!

Riped cake and a disastrous cake design
On the 27th of October 2017 I ordered a cake at Patisserie store in Rosebank. I gave them the picture of the cake and they said they could design it exactly as it was I asked if they were sure and they agreed. The cake was a handbag with wine in it which was supposed to be on the second layer of it. I gave them a period of 2 weeks which was till the 10th of November to fetch it. I had bought this cake for a surprise party I had planned for my mother, I cried when I saw the cake , it was totally not what I had asked for and even late for that matter because it came later than the actual time we had agreed on which was 2pm and it came around 5pm because it was apparently ‘’not ready’’. The cake looked more like a dumpling then a cake , no wine as I had asked,the icing was all over, it had cracks on the side I was even scared to touch it. I told them right there and then I was not happy with the cake and the only this they could say was ‘Sorry, the baker couldn’t do the wine part’ and they could just give me a cake for the inconvenience, which was just a small red velvet cake that I could just drink with tea but what about the actual cake, the surprise party was a few hours away and did not know what to do.When my mother cut the cake infront of everyone it just fell off, I was very sad. I went back on Sunday with the cake as cracked as it was as I wanted refund and the manager named Lucky said he will consult their big boss then get back to me which he did not, had to go back again then he promised me that the boss would call me, and when the boss finally called me he said he would investigate and refund me within two weeks which he never came back to me. My aunt called them and they promised her to the refund on two weeks as well , when she tries calling them after the two weeks they do not pick her calls anymore until now.
