We paid R3136.00 for a filthy room,most of the plugs didnt work,thje room was so dirty.it was such a dissapiontment.

Made reservations for December holidays but due to unforeseen circumstances we unfortunately had to cancel. Requested a refund well in advance as per the their cancellation policy but still awaiting the refund over a month later. All their workers have made excuses and found all the ways to make me wait for my money. What is so difficult to just refund me my money and call it a day? There is no seriousness and concern in the way they handle the duties.

I booked for 2 nights but the day we checked in, I was so disgusted. Tub chairs in the room were dirty. Curtains looked horrible, not sure if it was dirty or mold on the curtains. Pillows which were on the bed smelled funny and the room did not smell nice at all. Had a very weird smell. Bathroom looked a bit dirty as well. Wooden furniture's paint was busy peeling. I asked reception whether or not there's a Duty Manager and was told only the next morning. I come from a hospitality background and the fact that there was no Duty Manager is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I went back to my room and a few minutes later someone from housekeeping came and took me to a different room. Only difference was the curtains and chairs were clean. When I went to shower, the 1 towel was dirty and I was so glad I brought my own towels as well. The bed was horrible. The next morning I went to reception @ 6am to see if the Duty Manager was there and was told she's not there. We packed our stuff and checked out. We were told there's no refund at reception but the Duty Manager will see what she can do when she get back. At that point in time I've had enough of this horrendous place and just wanted to leave. Definitely not a place I would ever even suggest to my worst enemy. Definitely not a 4 star... Not even worth a 1 star at all

We were booked for 4 nights in The Point Hotel and Spa in Mosselbay. The first night we were bitten by bugs, at that time I thought it was mosquitos, the second night I realized that it was not mosquitos but bed bugs. I looked for other accommodation in Mosselbay for the remaining 2 nights, but could not find anything, we had to stay for a third night, it was the worst, me, my husband and my child (5 years old) was badly bitten by bed bugs, I refused to stay another night. We were badly bitten on our arms, legs and backs. We were itching the whole night. We had to inconveniently pack our bags, and drive through Mosselbay to look for a place to stay for 1 night. Luckily we were helped at the last minute and could find accommodation for 1 night. When we left and I looked under the beds if anything was left behind, I could not believe how dirty the room was, the floor was dirty and dusty and it seems that it was not cleaned for weeks. This is suppose to be a 4 star hotel, they do not even deserve 2 stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. I did take this up with the reservation staff, I need to be refunded for the night I booked but did not stay over, due to the conditions at the hotel. My whole stay was a complete waste of money. I paid almost R 2500 per night. I was promised that the General Manager will come back to me. To date I have had no communication from the Hotel what so ever.

No stars! Have to wait for ever for drinks, even longer for food, raw chicken piece in the salad, chips raw! Slips cant be printed, we were in such a rush to leave we didnt want to check the bill!! The waitress rolled her eyes at us. No wonder the place was empty! Close your doors a d call it done!!

We have a reservation for 13h00 now its 8min to 14h00. We've been here since 12h30. Feeling very irritable. Not the kind of sweet x-mas memory that you want for a Xmas and the food, well... Spending more time trying to cut through the meat than eating it. It felt like we were just in time for the left overs. Waitresses not keeping your table clean. Your plates, classes and serviates just piled up. So much for a apparently 4 star hotel. A very dissapointed X-mas lunch that goes with a horrible year as well. Thanx The Point hotel. Very disappointing!!!
