On 25th January 2025, My girlfriend and I went to potato shed polofields, waterfall in Midrand. At 22:17 at night we were paying the bill of R948 but we put R1150 for the tip. Invo number 147 the employee name on the slip is Felishar…she deducted R1550 and she did not give us the slip on the see from the notification that she has charged us more and we asked for refund then we called the manager who’s name is Francis to try and reverse the difference off which we still battling to get. Sunday we went there to check up again what’s the matter then he told us that the head office only clears the weekend refund on Monday. Today it’s the 28th Jan 2025 when we call Francis he still saying he is going to follow up with head office…he never even checked with us if we got our refund but us have to waist our time and airtime following up on him. This ***** clearly is what the staff does taking advantage of customers.

The place should just close down. How do you fail at preparing food and customer service?? The waiting period between ordering and food and drinks being served is ridiculous!! It wasn't even packed yet everything took forever! Some of the staff's attitude leaves a lot to be desired!!!

Absolute bad experience received from the team. I lost my phone on saturday having drinks with friends. No one knows anything about it. The manager "Sbusiso" was so unprofessional about handling the issue so the 2nd manager intervened(forgot his name), He is so good in customer service. We waited for the general manager who has access to the cameras. By the time he arrived to show me the footage, he has a predetermined mentality already and was rushing the conversation instead of thoroughly investigating the issue. I had hoped that we will go through the footage together so that i could be satisfied however that was not the case. i wouldn't wish experience on anyone at all. Losing your phone is extremely not good but the incident not being investigated properly is worse.

I went to The Potato shed in Polofields last night and I ordered 2 shots of Hendricks gin and tonic and a bowl of fries totalled R146 I gave the waiter R200 and he said he'd bring my change he didn't. I don't remember his name. I realized I forgot when I had left and I tried calling but there was no answer.

<p>Hi</p> <p>I walked intothe potatto sheds restaurants this morning. Upon realising that they are not yet open i proceeded to walk out of the other door. upon doing so, a staff member who claims to be the manager was extremely rude to me saying that Im disrespecting his restaurant. He shouted at me and created a scene in front of other staff members and passers by. When I told him that I would wont be visiting the restaurant again, he responded to me by saying "good riddins"</p>

<p>Utterly disappointed by my experience at the restaurant. Had to wait for about 15mins to be seated after our water 'forgot about us' the food was absolutely horrible, we ordered the beef ribs which were under cooked. When we complained about this to the manager, he gave is an option of having a sirloin. This was twice as much as the ribs in terms of pricing and he did not mention this to us. And this took forever few to us, we ended up having it as takeaway as we were so fed up at that point. I'm really disappointed because I experienced that the white people in the restaurant received preferential and way better service than my friend and I, as we were black. Definitely never going back there and telling everyone I know what a horrible experience we had. </p>
