Wow what an experience. Thank you Rocker Fellers Cape Town. For hosting my daughters 40th birthday party. On Friday the 22nd Aug. And epic experience. From the food to the the wine. We were well served food was timely and prepared to the highest of standards. The bar is well placed. We were welcomed with the best of greetings. To our waiters that had the patience of bearing with us Thank You Kindly. Rockefellers You Rock. I would certainly recommend you anytime for a function.

First night at the hotel, ordered at burger and 2 cold drinks at 20:35. At 22:00 we still had not received the order even though we followed up at 21:35. Lunch also took an hour to reach our table from time of order. A mere steak and pasta dish. Their dining service is atrocious. Rather use external food outlets to get your food.

This time last year I was booked into the Rockefeller hotel Cape Toen for 2 nights and paid in advance. I’m sure it was still under construction, there was no DSTV, no tea or coffee tray, if you wanted to watch Netflix, you had to use your own account. My room looked over a dilapidated court yard. During the night I received an emergency call to return to Johannesburg. I went down to the front desk and explained to them. They said it was no problem and they would refund my money for the night I was missing. I left and went back to Johannesburg. A year later and still no refund. This is grossly unfair, as I am a pensioner and have very little income to spare. Please HelloPeter please see what you can do. This time last year I was booked into the Rockefeller hotel Cape Toen for 2 nights and paid in advance. I was booked in at the rockefeller hotel from the 30 of June as it was my birthday and I discovered that the service is very excellent.the staff is always friendly the security is on point.i enjoyed their breakfast and the environment.room service is excellent.all equipments in the room are provided like hairdry.iron.water.and all other things.they made my birthday very special I'm happy with their customer service I recommend it to other people wishing to visit capetown.their phone number is 0210548448

Slacking, telling lies, making constant mistakes, apologizing and making the same mistakes, dirty rooms, bad communication, horrible customer service, invasive to your privacy, and load music from the hotel bars. The Rockefeller Hotel Cape Town destroyed my home environment. I gave multiple feedbacks but they never took notes in order to fix it. They place is running by unprofessional and unmotivated people. This is business collecting cash from people for accommodation and food and failing to deliver value to their customers. This review is to validate multiple bad reviews that this hotel got online. You shouldn’t be in business and serve highly valued customers. I’ll never come back again.

This refers to Rockefellers Cape Town. I was booked in for 2 nights during July, which was paid in advance. I arrived late at night, the building looked nice from the outside and the decor was also quite nice. The hotel was however still under construction. There was no DSTV, if you wanted to watch Netflix, you had to use your own account. There was no tea or coffee station in the room and the view from the widow was a rubble site. There was no room service either. The next morning I received an emergency call to return to Johannesburg, which I did. To this day I have not received any compensation for the day and night I did not spend there, due to circumstances beyond my control. This is totally unacceptable and I would like a response from the management . Do not stay there ! PS; they don’t have parking either.

We went for dinner at the Rockefeller Hotel Restaurant and our experience was amazing. The service is great, the food is even better, and the costs are reasonable. All around an awesome dining experience!

I absolutely HATED my stay recently at The Rockefeller worst service most chaotic environment they’ve completely lost the plot. Stayed the earlier this year and was so impressed now I’m beyond disappointed. I checked in and didn’t even last 1 hour I left and requested a refund. I WILL NEVER STAY THE AGAIN, so yourself a favour and find another place avoid utter disappointment. I give it 0/5
