Waste of time and Money to visit this strawberry farm
Visited the farm yesterday, would not recommend this to anyone. Could not even pick 1 strawberry. Drove more than 300km to Visit this farm. Strawberries full of insect and worms. Maintenence on the field is pathetic, ****s growing between the Strawberries. The employees said there is no Strawberries they do not know why managers allows more visitors. When complaints were laid the staff was very rude and not willing to help. Eventually contacted the owner to lay a complaint. She didn't have much to say nor apologized just said someone will call me back, im still waiting...... At the end we received a refund. But doesnt justify the time and money lost.

Super relaxing day of pampering with good food and lovely overnight stay
Booked a full day spa and night stay recently. Exceptional experience, good food and overall very relaxing. We previously had a full day massage and decided to book an overnight stay this time - best decision ever. Brilliant staff. One thing that we would have preferred was an aircon in the room but that is a personal preference.

Booked a full day spa and night stay recently. Exceptional experience, good food and overall very relaxing. We previously had a full day massage and decided to book an overnight stay this time - best decision ever. Brilliant staff. One thing that we would have preferred was an aircon in the room but that is a personal preference.

What a complete ripoff. Arrogant owners, money grabbers. They advertise it as strawberry season. Don’t waist your time!! Knowing well what was on their field, they continued to charge people a full entrance fee. We arrived early- very early. We were charged over R1000 for our group to enter - including our little 2 year old. If we collectively found a kilo of strawberries between us - it was a lot. We didn’t even manage to fill a bucket. We hardly ate anything on the field. They were mainly rotten. The saddest thing is that by 12:00 they were still charging single mothers, with all their children - the full fee. At least have the decency to charge 50% of the full entrance fee. That’s common decency. It’s the least you could do! We will never ever return.

Stay away from the Tangaroa Strawberry Farm
This was by far the worst experience we have ever encountered we were suppose to book into their spa... so this is the story. As we approached the venue we were greeted by a sign that said they do not have strawberries. The place is a complete dump. We continued to sit down for breakfast as they had demanded their cash upfront so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. If you are interested in going to a place that is decorated as though you were born in the 1960s then this place is for you. Plastic table clothes, plastic chairs that haven't been wiped off, carpets which have not been cleaned... it's a dump. Any how since we were not given a program even though we paid for a full day spa package we decided to walk around to see what the place looks like. The spa is some outside building devided into rooms by wood. There are no changing rooms, there are no lockers and no showers. There is only but an outside toilet that is in the middle of the car park area! The food was a disgrace the fruit salad was hot everything in it was hot the fruit, the yogurt the champagne and the ham and cheese all extremely hot. So we told them to keep that money for the breakfast and just reimburse the money for the spa. They told us to come back later and the owners will refund us. When we arrived back the owner came out with 6 dogs so we couldn't even get out of the car to have a decent discussion. They refused to give our money back and instead stood with a camera (for what I'm not sure) and recorded this discussion. They now have 3400 of our money which they have stolen and refuse to refund us. We called the police but they were unable to assist. We left feeling robbed disgusted and disappointed. This place has seriously needs to be shut down as we are not the only people they have done this too. They have also been accused of racism and had mistreated many guests. Please becareful!

Pathetic service
I paid for a Fully Body massage at this Spa a few months ago. I send them a mail asking about a date available. They didnt respond to my email. But book the appointment without confirming with me. When I followed up with them they said that I didnt pitch for my appointment and now I lost my money. They didnt confirm it with me so how should I supposed to know I must go? I asked in several emails I want the managers email adress and the confirmation email that they send to me but they are just ignoring my emails.
