It's disappointing to see such a one-sided and negative view of Theo Wassenaar Primary School, especially when so much progress has been made under the leadership of Mrs. Tagari. The school has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of education and the overall environment for all students, and it’s crucial to acknowledge these efforts rather than undermine them with biased accusations.
Fundraising activities like the Glow Run are essential for supporting various school initiatives that benefit all students. It’s unfortunate that some parents choose not to participate or contribute to these efforts, yet still expect their children to receive the same rewards as those who have. This is not only unfair to the school, but also to the families who make sacrifices to support these programs. The school’s policies regarding rewards are clear and are in place to encourage participation and ensure that everyone contributes to the collective good.
Regarding the safety measures, such as controlled access to the school premises, these are implemented with the students’ best interests in mind. Complaints about having to drop off children outside the gates ignore the fact that these rules are there to protect the students and maintain order. Non-compliant parents who resist these necessary measures are not only disregarding school policies but also putting their own children at risk.
Mrs. Tagari has made significant improvements to the school, focusing on discipline, safety, and academic excellence. Parents who fail to support these initiatives or comply with school policies are doing a disservice not only to their own children but to the entire school community. It’s time to stop the unfounded criticism and start appreciating the hard work that goes into making Theo Wassenaar Primary School a better place for all students.
