BEWARE!!! I bought the laptop from them and took my laptop to them because it would not charge. I asked them to look at the charger and the charging port. I was told that the processor was damaged and the laptop could not be repaired. I got is back damaged with the RAM ****** out of it, the back cracked (not the original back that it went in with) and all the *****s missing. It had one ***** holding everything together. The laptop was sold to me as a new laptop but after this experience doubt that it was because it was slow and froze all the time.

6 years and running my whole family and I buy and sell all our unwanted gadgets to the The TecShop and I can say we are very happy with their honest dealings, professionalism and empathy. Their friendly staff help you setup your phone and transfer your data when buying a new phone at no cost, where other shops charge you for that service. Word of caution though, make sure you have your original, box, chargers and all cables when you selling to them, otherwise they deduct from your lump sum you wish you should have brought along your sister’s cable. Thank you guys

Be very, very careful. I bought a new iPhone 13 from them late last year. It worked fine for several months....then I couldn't understand why it suddenly wouldn't connect to my network a week ago. After several days of investigation starting with my network Vodacom, then Apple Support, then MTN and being passed from pillar to post, I learned today that I am now partially involved in a fraud case!! It turns out that my legitimately owned and paid-for 'phone was acquired originally by a fraudster who obtained this then reneged on their contract with MTN - a company I have never had any dealings with. The Tec Shop must have acquired it from said individual or someone else who buys (without checking) on the grey market. The end result is that MTN has blacklisted my 'phone a week ago, so I can't use it: no calls, no mobile data, no texts. The negative effect on my business and family life is huge, as I am dependent on this 'phone , for which I paid the Tec Shop over R15,000. They have pretty much sold me a stolen 'phone, at least that is how MTN seems to be viewing it. The Tec Shop promised a solution, but won't be specific on what that is and also want me to come all the way to them, which is a 3 to 4 hour chunk out of my working day. Moreover, even if they were able to replace my 'phone with an exact replacement, this might happen all over again in a few weeks/months. This is a disgrace - and the drama and loss of income caused, not to mention the inconvenience, is huge. Avoid these people, it's not worth the hassle just to save a few bucks on buying direct from Apple or your network.

Great friendly experience, while in the store I saw a great trade happening next to me and a few hours after the item's were ready to be sold again. They appear to do repairs and can get you great value for money on 2nd hand goods, removing the need to filter through garbage on GumTree and Marketplace

With the warmest love in my heart I write this review about the TecShop. I have dealt with this company for 15 years and not just for the quality of goods they supply they go above and beyond for my company. From delivering and assisting with any setups of devices. I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to the TecShop. I will recommend this store to any of you looking for great prices and stunning service. And their after sales service is out of this world.
