I would like to take this opportunity to thank both hallopeter and Thompsons dealer principal for the job well done, i came here crying for my Polo TSI sunroof which was damaged by the dealership but after a thorough investigation it picked up that indeed the damage was from the dealership side, today I can now stand boldly and say my sunroof was repaired. I am indeed a happy client

Since they had my car for panelbeaters from November last year to date. I have not heard anything from them except that they always say they are waiting for parts. I lost my job because I was using the car going to work. I pay the car in month to month but is at panelbeaters.

I took my vw Tiguan to Thompson motors for three times complaining about the coolant system and everytime I collect the car I still experienced the same problem, on the 8th of November I took the car back and until today the 25th of November the car is still at the dealership and they r saying the is a part that was sent to the factory and I donโt know when my car will be fixed and the dealership didnโt even offer a courtesy car

I took my VW Polo to Thompsons Motor's (Louis Trichard) for a timing setting, because the car was jerkking and misfiring upon arrival I was again asked as to why the car was jerkking and misfiring and I again explained that the car was from another mechanic who had put in a new top gasket and pistons but could not do the timing perfectly, so they said they will diagnose it first for R403 of which we agreed on, they took the car in. I was called and told that the timing setting would cost R8000 of which I declined because I felt like the price was way too much so I went there for a breakdown of the amount and spoke to the workshop manager Mr Frank Adams who was of no assistance in explaining how they arrived on such a figure. They forced me to pay R2400 on collection of the vehicle without any job done or daignosis report, I feel it was a rip off of my hard earned cash and would not recommend anybody to send in their vehicles for repairs at that branch, ill treatment and Poor service.
