*************. POOR WORKMANSHIP.
If you're looking for honesty and quality workmanship THEN STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM TYRON PAYNE as possible. Tyron quoted me R21 000 for the labour to extend, plaster and paint my double wall. When there was structural damage on 2 sections of the wall the labour quote increased to R27500 for the entire job, which I have paid in full. 1 week in his first team of men quit as he hadn't paid them and was never there to supervise. His second team he still owes R2100 to and ignores their calls. In order for them to continue working on my wall I had to start paying them privately, which Tyron agreed on voice recording would be deducted from what I owed for mesh fencing that he was meant to order and never actually did. He sent 2 quotes from 2 seperate companies, both not matching the original specs of the fencing and uprights he quoted and when I called both companies they stated that he never confirmed either order and those quotes were requested day that he sent them to me instead of the fencing being ordered 2 weeks prior. He then quoted R4500 to install about 5m of Clearview Fencing and a gate near to my house, the quote was vastly underquoted and I ended up paying over R7000 for the products alone. He never finished the job, and was super rude about me following up as to when the job would be completed. The gate he installed is not correct to size and is also not installed completely as it lacks a swing latch to secure it shut. Tyron currently owes me R13 194,26 for the fencing he never ordered and overpayments I made. He also owes me monies for the wall he never bothered completing that I paid in full for or the gate installation that he never completed. He stated to me that he would pay R6000 by today (18 February 2026) and the rest would be paid off within the next month. Today, as per usual, I was ignored by Tyron (both calls and messages) and despite asking his aunt and mother to intervene they seem to aid and abed his behavior with the excuse that the custody battle that he is facing with regards to his child is an excuse to ***** others over, ignore messages and operate in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner.
