While I was on the premises (around 10am), I was abruptly and aggressively told to leave as they are fully booked until knock off time. This alos happened last year December! The cars that were to be washed were not even more than five when I looked at the parking lot. This after a white couple registered their car in front of me without any questioning or delays. The manner in which I was approached felt hostile and unnecessary, and I was effectively chased away without a clear explanation or any attempt at respectful communication. This experience was uncomfortable and unprofessional considering that I used to wash my car there since I moved to the Western Cape (Bredasdorp). As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Even if there was a policy or misunderstanding, the situation could have been handled calmly and professionally rather than in the manner I experienced. Especially if it is for the second time! I am alerting you officially that I'm (and my associates) withdrawing my support to you and will make sure that I spread the word (in person and or social media) so as to expose such behaviour under this new management.

I am extremely disappointed with my repeated experiences at Thunder Brothers Car Wash (Labori Centre, Paarl), and I feel compelled to warn others. Earlier this week, I visited the Labori Centre branch and was met with a staff member at the counter who was visibly irritated and annoyed. When it became my turn, I received short, abrupt responses with no eye contact and a very dismissive attitude. I then left. Later that same day, I went to the Wineland Square Thunder Brothers (under Checkers Hyper) to enquire about an interior detail. I was told it was too late for the day. The manager of both branches assisted me and explicitly told me that I could bring my car in on Wednesday or any weekday morning when they open, and that they would have space for me. Today, I did exactly that. I arrived at 8:00 AM, stood in line, and was assisted by the same manager. From the start, there was once again very little eye contact and an unfriendly attitude. When I requested the Royal Treatment (which includes outside wash and interior detail), I was told no, because they supposedly already had two vehicles booked for interiors for the entire day. I find it very hard to understand how only two interior details can be accommodated in a full working day. When I questioned this—based on what I had previously been told—the manager suddenly claimed that I “should have come on Wednesday” and that I “didn’t listen properly,” completely ignoring the fact that he himself told me I could come in the morning during the week. He then tried to shift blame to another staff member, suggesting that “some lady probably didn’t book me,” despite the fact that no booking was mentioned or required during our original conversation. When I calmly said that I would rather go elsewhere, the situation escalated further. I was met with attitude, sass, and outright rudeness. The manager told me that I am “always struggling” with them because I don’t listen properly. As I walked away to remove myself from the situation, he continued making unnecessary comments about me, loudly enough for me to hear, and then proceeded to speak negatively about me to the customer waiting behind me. What makes this even worse is that my friend was with me at the time, as she was there to pick me up after I intended to leave my car. She witnessed the entire interaction and was just as appalled and shocked by the manager’s behaviour, to the point of being lost for words. This behaviour is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful—especially coming from a manager. I left feeling frustrated, and disrespected. I have given Thunder Brothers multiple chances, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I strongly suggest that management urgently address the attitude, communication, and customer service standards, particularly at the managerial level.

I visited Thunder Brothers Car Wash at Stone Ridge on [insert date] and booked my vehicle in at 10:15 for a special package costing R400. I was informed the service would take about 1.5 hours. However, when I returned after the allotted time, my car was only just coming out of the wash bay. Staff then sprayed it again with water and began wiping it down. Unfortunately, the interior was not vacuumed, and the car did not appear polished as promised. For the price paid, I expected a complete service, but the quality fell far short. When I raised this with the manager, I handed over the tokens showing what was included in my package. Instead of addressing the issue or inspecting the car, she simply took the tokens and walked away without offering any assistance or resolution. I was polite and calm throughout, yet my concerns were dismissed. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Poor time management, incomplete service, and lack of accountability from management make it hard to recommend this car wash. I hope they take steps to improve customer service and deliver what they advertise.

On the 25th of October, I took my vehicle for a wash and I also asked the person washing the vehicle just to rinse the engine off which he did,but after that my vehicle didn't want to start so we pushed the vehicle to where they dried it off which the vehicle wasn't cleaned properly, there was dirt spots all over the vehicle. After the inspection of my vehicle I informed them that it is still dirty and it's not the first time that it happened so I requested that their regional must contact me which she never did. So I sent them a message that I will go social media regarding this matter cause there was no response. The owner sent me a message late this afternoon that I mustn't take my car to them again cause I asked questions on social media platform if someones problem was fixed and he rep**** if have a problem I must contact him but he never rep**** to the first message that was sent them.

I am beyond disappointed with the service at the Glengarry branch of this car wash franchise. This is the second time in just eight months that I’ve had a terrible experience—and they’ve somehow managed to do even worse than before. Despite receiving the message “Your classy car is ready for collection,” I arrived 30 minutes later only to find the roof still wet and insects still stuck to the bumper, windows dirty and only 3 tyres cleaned. It was clear the vehicle had not been washed properly, just like the previous time. The lack of attention to detail and care is astounding. This level of service is unacceptable and frankly disgraceful. Customers deserve better, and it’s clear that this franchise is not interested in delivering even the basics of what they promise.

I have never ever experienced such terrible service from a company. I dropped my car off at the Tygervalley Branch for a wash, and when I returned my window unit was completely broken. I immediately went back, I was promised that they will follow up with me in that same week. I am still waiting after 3 weeks. I had to replace it myself. Even the so called area manager **** and said she will make sure it gets seen to. She is now ignoring my messages. They couldn't even do a proper job in cleaning my car!!!
