Their work was completed in a substandard, unsafe, and noncompliant manner. Solar wires were placed in partial trunking and conduit. No glue was used to secure the conduits, leaving many open spaces that could allow water to damage the wiring. They returned over the weekend to fix the piping and placed all wiring in conduit with glue. However, during the December storm and strong winds, the solar panel structure was blown over and nearly fell from the second story. Two panels had to be pulled back onto the roof that was partially hanging over. The structure was inadequately secured, relying on 30x30 cm steppingstones instead of proper solar ballast concrete blocks. I have repeatedly contacted Dirk to request a response and to have them fix their installation, but I have received no reply. I have also written a formal complaint letter and included relevant pictures. All documentation and emails are available upon request.
