Hullets brown sugar
I have contacted the number on the packaging and I'm not winning, I've bought 1kg Hullets brown sugar at the Spar near me and the quality of it I'm really not satisfied it's more white that brown even the taste you can't even taste brown sugar as well as the aroma. I did not go back to the Spar for a refund because I know they not manufactures they receive as is and sell to us. If you néeed the pictures of it as well as the batch number and proof of purchase is available.

Hullets brown sugar

Huletts' Sugar Rocks
This morning (10 July 2025) I bought a 2.5kg pack of Huletts white sugar, (Barcode 6001042000304) at Spar in Cullinan. What I expected to find was loose sugar granules. Big mistake! Instead, I found lumps of sugar, hard as rocks, and almost impossible to break up without using a hammer and anvil. And this by a company that advertises on the package: “HULETTS IS PROUD TO BE PART OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN FAMILY AND WE’VE BEEN MAKING EVERY DAY SWEETER FOR OVER 128 YEARS.” Yeah, sure. Right. You’re proud? Pffft! Maybe it is time you learn how to package your product properly? Needless to say, I am thoroughly disgusted, and shall certainly NOT waste my money on your substandard product ever again.

TONGAAT HULETT SUGAR
In the work places, around our homes, in a tight fitting coffee bar Hulett was our brand, there are no words for SA income problems right now, I would hate for huletts not to stay open, from the lowest income bracket to the highest, hulett sugar was and is the best every team member works hard to give us the finest and best, to all who are facing struggles right now stay strong and please support our home sugar grown cane businesses they deserve the applause, those truck drivers are our smiles and waves on the road hulett we salute you since, and we will always support your industry by buying your product. Till we meet at our table again a big thank you to all who deserve 2025.❤️🫠

Huletts sugar.....
I'm very angry at this stage I'm a part time baker making fudge for ekstra income and all the 2.5 kg sugar are stone hard in each bag I really hope that Checkers in Welkom Freestate knows about it or I will make this statement famous someone has to take responsibility for this because I had to throw half of my sugar away and I bought 20 if not more 2.5 kgs of this ****ty sugar... Good Day, Firstly your Customer Care Line number does not work, the email address on the packaging also is invalid. I recently bought a 2.5kg of White Sugar - on opening it seems to be a mixture of Brown and white. This is false advertising - as I bake a lot - this could potentially affect the final outcome. The price was slightly cheaper but then inform the consumer of the mixture.

Huletts Lumpy White Sugar
I am always so disappointed in Huletts white sugar. 9 times out of 10 it is lumpy and hard no matter where I buy it from. Something is wrong with their packaging or processing I have never found this with other brands of white sugar, even the house brands at Pick n Pay, Checkers and Spar. I ALWAYS BUY THE HULETTS SWEETNER FROM MAKRO A BOX OF SUPPOSE TO BE 1000 IN , BUT NOW FOR THE 5TH TIME I COUNTED THEM AND THERE ARE 150 SACHETS SHORT IN THE BOX ! REALLY THE SWEETNER IS NOT R2.00 BUT WAY OVER R200.00 I HAVE KEPT QUIET REGARDING THE PREVIOUS ONES, BUT THIS IS REALLY RIDICULOUS !
