Very disappointed & frustrating process, lasting about 3 years . Paid R21600.00 for a new 5ft tipi (paid deposit in Oct 2020), took very long to be delivered, ended up settling for 2nd hand poles (they couldn't get new poles). Fabric disintegrated after 1 year. Opted to rather go for a 2nd hand medium bell tent that had been tried and tested to avoid the same drama in another year. Asked if some kind of compensation was possible due to the difference in price between new large tipi & 2nd hand medium bell tent & was told yes it would be looked into (April 2023). 9 months later still nothing. I have given up. I have spent so much of my time trying to get tractions with this company through out these 3 odd years, and besides the pandemic, I feel communications and delivery is not on par....so frustrating. Owner moved overseas during the process. Great guy, but I will never recommend this company. Wish I'd had a lawyer....lesson learned :)

We had the worst experience with Touch Nature Tents. We felt completely ripped off - the owners knew we were in a pinch and needed a glamping tent set up solution and we're certain they put up the prices because of this. The tents and furniture were not as pictured - we were supplied with the cheapest of the cheapest of everything and the "tent light" was basically a torch duct taped to the center pole of the tent. Seriously, we were embarrassed to show our guests into this accommodation and mortified that we had asked them to pay towards a "glamping experience". On top of this, we had specifically asked if the tents were wind and weatherproof, however, we ended up spending most of the time just trying to keep them up. A good portion of tents blew down each night and one tore irreparably. The owner did come out to resolve the issue on the first night but arrived alone the next day with no staff and spent an hour with a basin (to fix the torn tent???) and some rope to try and fasten the other tents better. Of course these remedies failed and tents kept collapsing. Despite contacting the owners again after the event we have had no response. For a cheaper price we might say risk it and book these tents and get what you get - but for what we paid we would NEVER recommend this company.
