WARNING: Do Not Use ARAN International Removals and Storage
I had a terrible experience with ARAN International Removals and Storage. After making an upfront payment, they doubled the quoted price on the scheduled collection day. Even after agreeing to the inflated price, they demanded an additional amount without confirming the collection.
The worst part was the offensive behaviour of their representative George, who mocked my budget and made an anti-Semitic remark. Attempts to escalate the issue failed as their contact numbers didn’t work, and their website was down. None of the staff are real i.e. Kobus in Operations or Tom. The only pair that is real is George and Beauty.
I lost my deposit, lodged a formal complaint with the NCPC, and cancelled my service request. I do not believe this is a business worthy of operating in South Africa. Avoid them at all costs.

When we eventually saw her consignment and access it was obvious that we needed a shuttle vehicle both in Johannesburg and in Cape Town she refused to pay for it.
We gathered the option to arrange to bring the furniture out to the vehicle and in Cape Town to bring the furniture in from the entrance, she also refused to do that.
