Pathetic service. Arranged a driver to collect me after having my vehicle serviced on a Saturday. After having to walk 3.5kms to the nearest pick up point in the scorching heat, I am still waiting 45 minutes later. I told the service agent exactly where I needed to be collected but the driver drove straight past. Apparently he is now on his way.

Be careful of this company when purchasing a used car from them. On February 2024 my mother bought me a used Toyota starlet 1.4 under her name from Toyota used cars when the car came it had holes under the pedals which I complained about but luckily they took it back and fixed it but 11 months later the carpet is shredding and holes are reappearing. The gears wouldn't change easily I thought no maybe the car will eventually adjust. In 2025 I sent it for service at their facility the report came back saying the clutch disc is worn out that is why initially the gears where hard to change and I must pay 11K to have them fixed along with worn out windshield wipers. When I asked them why it has to be fixed by me they said because I did not file a complaint within 6months of purchase,a problem they clearly knew about when selling the vehicle to me. Now I am thinking why did they target me for this ****,their service on used vehicles is utterly disappointing. Did they even perform a proper assessment of the vehicle before sale or they saw an easy target. I tried having the matter resolved with them with no resolution except "FIX IT YOURSELF",Mind you I am not a new driver how's it possible the clutch would be worn out in the first year of use?

The vehicle was taken in for servicing and for the repair of a nonfunctional USB port on the 6th of May 2025. The service advisor, Thuli, informed me that the car had been serviced and that the USB port had been fixed. However, when I collected the vehicle, it had not been washed. I was told to call the next day to arrange for it to be returned for the wash. When I called the following day, receptionists Portia, Lumka, and Charlene answered the phone, but Thuli has not returned any of my calls to date. What’s more concerning is that, even after escalating the matter to the manager, I still have not received any follow-up or callback. To make matters worse, the USB port is still not functional, meaning the initial issue remains unresolved despite being marked as completed.

Best experience ever😍. We bought our car with them. We stay in Capetown they are based in KZN, they offered to deliver our car or fly us out to collect. We flew for the drive back 😉, and they had their driver pick us up at the airport. The sale was made so simple and easy by Tyron 😊. Overall we are glad we went with this dealership. It was worth it 😍😍.

I’m so over their service and need to know how long does it take to get the parts a head light to specific? I have been waiting for my car to get fixed from the 24th of January. It been over a month now, pushing two. My car still hasn't been fixed because they’re waiting for parts. They keep on extending the arrival dates, saying that the light is in Midrand and it has to go through inspection. I suspect that this story is not true and they’re probably covering up for the panel beater. I honestly don’t understand how they ended up calling me because in my understanding they should be communicating with the panel beater.

I’m more than upset!! Dropped my car for service at around 07:00 morning for a normal service at Toyota Shelly Beach. They were supposed to pick me up when done with service, and they called me at 16:02, telling me the driver will be picking me up from Shelly Centre, where I’d been working from the whole day. Their driver lied twice, saying I wasn’t at the spot they were supposed to pick me up from. Two hours later I’m still waiting at the same spot, for them to pick me up. It’s dark, and I need my car :(, and I need to go home. It’s the second time I have issues with pickup from this Toyota. It’s just ridiculous that something as simple as making sure the client gets his/her car can be made this hard. Don’t provide the service if you don’t have capacity to deliver the promise.

I would like to share my experience. I purchased pre owned isuzu kb300 from halfway toyota shelly beach. I would like to thank mr Barnard the pre owned sales manager, mr danny khan. And f&i mrs thabile. I must say the vehicle was absolutely nice i never regret one moment. Halfway toyota is there to assist. I would definitely purchase another vehicle in future. Amazing team.
