Lost Opportunity: Trailarent’s Lack of and Poor Response Costs Them Business
We're in the process of finding one-way trailers for a lengthy move from Krugersdorp to PE at the end of January. While looking for various suppliers and quotes, a different, much larger company referred your company to me. So, on 31 December, I used the online contact form to contact Trailarent at BW Strubens Valley, asking about the availability, costs, logistics, etc., for two 4m one-way trailers to PE. I received a quick response on 2 January referring me to a list of other Trailarent branches, and I opted to email the Randburg branch, which is the closest to us, besides Strubens Valley (Roodepoort). To this day, no response has been received, not even an acknowledgement of enquiry. It seems Trailarent isn't interested in new business. Maybe they get too much and don't need ours. In the meantime, I've managed to secure two one-way trailers with the other company and also asked them to stop referring customers to Trailarent. It's a pity that a company with a good business model like this does not provide the same service across all branches.

Rude and trashy employees and services
I booked a trailer for the 20.12.2024. I got there and the piece of trash with no manners tells me "There's no trailer for you, that website don't work, I told them so" I then request that he phones head office to clear the issue he then says, "I wont". I then request for him to give me the number so I can call he then tells me, "I won't do it, you find it" and walks away. Is this the trash trailarent employs, if it wasn't for my wife I would have broken his nose, the piece of ****. I know I won't get a response from this but I will post this on every social media platform I can find.

Trailarent Centurion the worst
From the best service 6 years ago to the worst service in 2024. The people in this branch does not even try to help a customer. Just "sorry, not available" for the the last 4 weeks. I am just trying to get a 1 way trailer from Centurion to PE for end of Oct. They do not even say that they will contact me when something becomes available. Just telling me to call again after a week or go somewhere else

Trailarent Centurion the worst
From the best service 6 years ago to the worst service in 2024. The people in this branch does not even try to help a customer. Just "sorry, not available" for the the last 4 weeks. Good sercive Trailarent Bellville
Very friendly and helpfull service from the receptionist and the guy handing me over the trailer. I highly recommend Trailarent Bellville I rent the trialer 9November2024 and was assist in no time.

Stay away! Invoice Altering and Poor Customer Service
I am writing to express my serious concerns about my recent experience with Trailarent. My name is Jacques Rossouw, and along with Janine Swanepoel, I rented a trailer from Trailarent on the 3rd of July 2024 at 15:11, returning it the following day before 16:00. Our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare due to several discrepancies and issues related to the invoice and subsequent charges. Here are the major issues we encountered: Invoice Discrepancies: Upon hiring the trailer, our invoice stated the trailer number as 764, and no checks were conducted with us at that time. When we returned the trailer, again, no checks were performed. We were later contacted and informed that the spare wheel was missing, followed by an invoice for R1800 to replace it. Altered Invoice: Upon requesting the original invoice, we received a photo showing multiple changes and alterations. The trailer number had been altered, and there were no initials from us acknowledging this change. The checklist on Trailarent's copy was filled in, while ours remained blank. Notably, the item "Spare wheel given" was initially marked "yes" and then altered to "no." Unclear Video Footage: The video footage provided to us does not clearly show the trailer number, making it difficult to verify that the footage corresponds to the trailer we rented. This raises serious doubts about the authenticity of the evidence provided. Poor Customer Service: Despite requesting the contact details for Trailarent's head office and their legal representatives three times, we have not received this information. Instead, we have received voice notes threatening that we are being handed over to attorneys, that our credit records will be negatively affected, and that we are banned from hiring any trailers from Trailarent in the future. For your reference, we have photos of the invoice highlighting these discrepancies. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable. We request a thorough review and explanation of the changes made to the invoice, clear and verifiable evidence regarding the spare wheel's status at the time of return, and the contact details for Trailarent's head office and legal representatives. We believe these steps are necessary to resolve this matter fairly and transparently. We look forward to Trailarent's prompt response and cooperation in addressing our concerns. This kind of service and treatment is completely unacceptable, and we advise others to be cautious when dealing with Trailarent.

Exceptional Service and Compassion in Our Time of Need
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by this company. After being ****med by a company that promised to move our belongings internationally, we were in a dire situation. Time was running out, and we urgently needed assistance to remove our goods from a warehouse. Arriving in the rain, we met Russel at the Olympic Business Park branch, and his kindness and professionalism were a beacon of hope. Understanding our distress, they lent us a trailer for free. Despite the torrential downpour, their team went above and beyond, unpacking and repacking the trailer with genuine goodwill. The next day, they further assisted us by helping locate a one-way trailer rental company, as they only offer round-trip rentals. Thanks to their support, we successfully transported our goods to Sedge. Their dedication to customer service and their willingness to help in our time of need was truly remarkable. I highly recommend this company for their outstanding compassion and assistance. Thank you, Russel and team, for turning a stressful situation into a manageable one. You have our deepest appreciation.

Trailarent offer a very wide variety of trailers for transport of any goods for residential or commercial purposes. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
