During February negotiations were made for the purchase of several tights and tops to be purchased from Turning Point. The date required was the weekend of 13th March for a festival. We were assured that they would be able to do this within an 8 day turnaround. The budget for this was R20k and they brought the invoice in line with this so that they could get the business. The message from them:Please find amended Proforma Invoice , Would you kindly email me the proof of payment in full so that i can process your order asap. in order for you to get it in time. Payment was made immediately. The date was not met but we could use the items for the next festival end April. No communication regarding progress was received. when lock down became evident and the festivals cancelled, we communicated on 23rd March with Turning point to cancel the order and refund the monies. The reply was that this was in production so could not be cancelled. Once businesses were up and running we found that Turning Point were now busy making masks but had not taken the trouble to communicate further regarding the order. Once again on 30th April, we requested that the order be cancelled and the monies refunded. No response was received so we communicated via their web page on 8th May and were told that this was not possible according to them and the order was complete. They were asked to deliver but delayed on this for another week and then decided to finally admit that the order was in fact not complete and agreed to refund the money for the items not as yet completed. They charged R160 to courier the box of completed items and then delayed for another 3 weeks before finally doing the refund of the balance of R5k! Only for use to discover that there was R800 short ! When queried the reply was that they had deducted a cancellation fee! This is not acceptable! They did not cancel the order and insisted that it was complete. To deduct R800 from a R5000 refund! All our small businesses are in distress but there is no integrity in the manner in which Turning Point conducted itself.

I ordered a leotard from the Turning Point (TP) online store and initially, I received excellent service, with them ensuring that my order was delivered on time for my dance exam. This was, however, a leotard made with poor workmanship as it was skew and the lining was a material that had no stretch, and I had to make do with what I had for my exam. The second problem that occurred with this company, was that a teeny tiny white leotard was delivered to me the next day, even though the invoice was made out to someone in a different province. I sent photos of my skew leotard and notified them of the incorrect order that I received. They sent the courier to pick up both pieces and I handed the courier a closed bag with both garments in. Some time had passed, when I got a call from TP asking if I sent the white leotard back, because their client have not received their order. This was very unprofessional, as I sent it back and the fact that the client did not receive it, had nothing to do with me. Fast forward some more, I received an email that my order has been shipped. It took me more than two weeks of emails, Facebook messages, Facebook comments (as you cannot write a review on their page), a tagged Facebook post and phone calls to receive my order. It was only when I started to email the CEO and setting an ultimatum that I wanted a refund if I did not receive my parcel in two days, that I got a response. Turns out that in the two weeks since I received the email that my order has been shipped, it was sitting in their store the whole time and it was never shipped. They did send me a dance bag as an apology, but at this stage, I do not think that I will order from them again.

Gave this online ballet store a chance by ordering from them and it was a total disaster. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere. I chose the free delivery option, they then called a week later to tell me there isnt a free delivery option and I explained on their online site there is. The lady said she would get back to me. She never did. Until I called 3 weeks later, they still hadn't sorted anything out. Basically they were happy to keep my money and hope I forgot about my order. Its called stealing...

I was directed to Turning Point Online from the Turning Point Store in Pretoria East. I was told to do this because the Turning Point Store in Faerie Glen did not hold stock. I ordered my shoes on the 27th April 2019 from Turning Point Online and received an email stating that there would be a 10 - 15 working day lead time. I phoned the Turning Point Online store from the 21st of May because I had not received any notification of my delivery. On the 27th of May after not receiving any clarity on any of my phone calls I requested a refund should my shoes not be delivered that week. On the 29th May 2019 I received notification that my shoes were on their way. The notification contained an image of the shoes I had ordered. When I collected the shoes on the 31st May 2019 it was the wrong shoes. Ie. Not the shoes I ordered online that were pictured on my receipt and on the notification of delivered. When I phoned the Turning Point Store online store in Faerie Glen to arrange exchange of the shoes they insist that they have nothing to do with the Turning Point Online Store and that they are different companies with different owners. I am so fed up with the pathetic service, I requested to return the shoes I received which are incorrect for a full refund. I phoned every day last week from the 3rd to the 7th of May and have received no assistance in this matter. Instead, the staff ask why I do not use the shoes I received because they are my size. This is not the point, this is not the style that I ordered, which suits my dance style. This week I have not received any communication relating to how this matter will be resolved. I am appalled and disappointed by the service from Turning Point. I would also urge that a company called Turning Point in Faerie Glen not refer clients to Turning Point Online store only to claim that the companies have no affiliation. I demand a refund and to return the incorrect shoes that were delivered to me.

Have not heard one thing since i placed my order with them 2 weeks ago! Try to call and email several times and no answer to either.... I would think twice before ordering anything online from them.

What a TERRIBLE business.I ordered something last week Sunday already, specifically as a Christmas present for someone. Then ,after multiple attempts at trying to reach you by email,I finally got in touch with someone over the phone on Wednesday.Turns out my order has never been processed!Mind you I have paid everything but no confirmation of receipt of payment or anything of the sort,I even sent them a POP .So then this lady tells me they don't have my address, but they can send the parcel via courier the next the....which was last week Thursday....so that it may arrive by Monday, the day before Christmas.Okay fine,I give her my address ,still no feedback or follow up.By Thursday afternoon I still do not have a tracking number or anything. So I call again. "Oh ma'am what's your address please".....*** I gave it to you less than 24 hours ago...."We lost it just give it again" .I gave it again....still no follow up or tracking number or anything.Needless to say it is Christmas today and I had to spend more money to get something else. This kind of conduct is disgusting to say the very least.I personally think you should just close your business because you do not have the foundation to succeed .I do not care if some sorry sod got around to sending that parcel yesterday and am hoping I am fine with receiving it later,I want my money back.Which judging by other comments on your page,is gonna be another hassle.Just DISGUSTING.

On 23 April 2018 I placed an order for a product known as “Latin Pants” with the sales team of Turning Point. I received a sales order on 24 April 2018 and made the necessary payment. I provided exact measurements and also explained that the pants were needed for a show that my son was dancing in on 13 May 2018. It was confirmed by Rowina that I would receive the pants well before this date. I followed up on this order frequently, but only received the pants on 12 May 2018. When I opened the package, I noted that the size of the pants was incorrect (I ordered a 73cm waist and received a 92cm waist). In addition, the pants were not as advertised on the website and of a very low quality. I phoned Rowina at Turning Point immediately and explained the situation. She said that she would arrange for the collection of the pants and a full refund. The pants were collected and received by Turning Point on 18 May 2018. I have been following up on the refund twice a week via email and phone calls since 18 May 2018. I am given a new excuse every time. I have also attempted to contact the CEO of the company, but my phone calls and emails remain unanswered.

We brought tapping shoes for my daughter two weeks ago. At the time the sales lady Claudia informed us that they did not have any trappers for the shoes and that the cost would be R 360. Two weeks later they received stock and asked double the price. We weren't prepared to play double the price and returned the shoes. Upon returning Claude would not accept the shoes. Please do not support this business they will rip you off.
