Painless transition from two faulty Megane 2 Key Cards to 2 better than new (the boot opening activation is better than from new on both the key cards now) in brand new keycard cases. From back-and-forth bother of the internet and foreign parts suppliers, to right on the doorstep, sorted in 2 hours. Thanks Turnkey.

My worst experience ever. The owner is arrogant and the most unhelpful man ever. The workmanship is shoddy. I went there to have my steering lock replaced because they’re the closest to my mother’s place in Heathfield. They never said they can’t do the job. The steering lock now has no accessory start. It goes straight to start. The radio, which was quite fine before they worked on it, now has to be switched on manually and switches off by itself after an hour. There are wires hanging loose inside the car, that comes from somewhere behind the engine to the starter I think. When I went back to ask them to just check it out, the ry said sorry, it’s not their problem. I asked if they couldn’t just take a look, they refused. The older man remembered me and said he’d take a look and the younger man just said no, you’re not going to. I think they know they do a poor job and are only there to fleece people out of money. There are more negative reviews on this website than positive. My bill was R1 400, not cheap and they they just refused to even look at what they had done wrong! They are dishonest and a disgrace!

The worst experience. The owner by the name of Dave is the most disrespectful and arrogant guy. He does not know how to treat his customer. Honestly don’t think they know what they doing. I’ve been going there for the past 3/4 months trying to sort out my key. Tried getting help from his son Adrian and he was just as disrespectful and rude. I would not recommend this place.

The key remote on our Mercedes B Class starting to play up and become temperamental. Dropped the car off with the key and a few hours later ~ hey presto, a new key fob programmed in for less than R3000. A bargain! If Mercedes here in SA are anything like they are in the UK, you have to pitch up with both great grandparents to prove who you are and then sell the children to pay for a key.

I have used Turnkey on many occasions and have always been happy with the service and advice that they have provided. However, the service provided last Saturday morning prompted me to write this review. We have two remotes for our swing gate and both suddenly stopped operating. I tried new batteries but with no joy. I took the broken remotes to Turnkey and asked them whether they had new ones in stock. The young chap behind the counter took the remotes into the back office, and a few minutes later he came back and showed me that the lights were now working on both remotes. I asked him what he had done and he said he had just bent the little pieces that connected the battery back in place. I asked him what I owed him for his time, and he said not to bother. He could quite easily have just told me that the remotes were broken, and I would have believed him, and bought two new remotes. But his honesty restored my belief that there are still good people about, and I would definitely recommend the services of Turnkey to anyone.
