I want to compliment the bakery section on this occasion. It was after 6 yesterday(5/11/25) my husband bought a swiss roll (blossom swiss roll) & wow, wow was that superb. Fresh, tasteful, & delicious. Always get the best from Uitkyk. Compliments to a gentleman named Martin who last weekend went out of his way to assist me. Thank you Martin please keep up the great work.

Dear Uitkyk Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from your online platform, specifically with the quality of fruits and vegetables delivered to me. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced issues with your service. The recent delivery was subpar, with items that appeared to be rejected or of inferior quality. I am concerned that your team may be packaging and delivering items that do not meet the standard which i need to discarded/throw away items received same day due to the quality which seems wasteful and unacceptable, especially in the current economic. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and review your quality control processes to ensure that customers receive fresh and high-quality produce.

I just left Silverton branch after a very bad service recieved from the cashier " Lebogang Phahlane" As I was about to pay, I noticed that I left my bank card in the car and asked my younger brother to use his bank card but the cashier refused to swipe my rewards card. Saying she doesn't understand why I'm complaining about swiping it because I'm only going going to get 10c if I swipe it. I left the trolley and left the store.

We were ignored at the butcher shop, despite being there first. The butchers served everyone around us, even those who arrived after us. There seems to be no clear system in place—it's every customer for themselves. If they don't seem to like you, you're left waiting while others are prioritized. The management doesn't seem to care about the people anymore.

On December 24th, I visited Uitkyk in Silverton, where I had a disturbing encounter with one of the employees. A white male staff member, whom I recorded on video, was extremely rude and nearly physically assaulted me. I intend to share the footage on social media to raise awareness. I'm concerned that Uitkyk may be hiring individuals who exhibit violent behaviour towards customers, which needs to be addressed. ****** Rude Man!

"AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! I had a completely unacceptable experience . The staff falsely accused me of *****ing, which was not only embarrassing but also extremely upsetting. Despite my repeated attempts to clear my name, they refused to listen and continued to treat me like a ********. The lack of customer service and basic human decency was appalling. I will never set foot in this store again and would advise others to do the same. Unbelievable and unacceptable treatment of a customer. To add insult to injury, I was not even offered an apology for the mistake
