Super vet!
Always great service. Dr Schwabe is a caring person with a love for animals. He always listens to the problem/history and explains the resolution so that 'non-doctors' can understand it. He's got a warm, inviting, and caring personality and our pets love him.

No compassion front of house staff
I dumped them once before because of lack of compassion when it comes to pets , the vets are professional but the front of house reception seriously need customer care training , she couldn’t find my surname on the system , couldn’t find my multiple pets names on the system , I explained I had a semi feral cat and I couldn’t gaurantee the time time slot they could fit me in and if I couldn’t catch the cat I must let them know an hour before the time .. are you f🤬🤬🤬in your head ?? How the f🤬🤬ck am I suppose to catch a feral cat on time and if I don’t catch her let you know an hour before the time I’m not going to make it ? Please take my entire data off your system including my 7 pets names which you couldn’t f 🤬🤬🤬ing find on the system after me coming there for 3 years . Brighton road diere clinic much more friendly!!!!

Compassionate and Thorough Vet
I cannot praise Dr Friede Schwabe and his team enough. Took my cat to another vet a two week prior and was told he has a nasal infection, gave him antibiotics and send us home. Went back to them a few days later and was told my cat is in good health and I must just keep an eye on his weight. I knew something was not right and he regressed badly, so I decided to take him to Uitzicht Vet for a second opinion. Dr Schwabe recommended we do various test and explained every step to me perfectly. Sadly it is lung cancer. He broke the news with such gentleness and compassion while I was sobbing away. He administered a cortisone and antibiotic injection which is definitely helping my cat and even though I know it’s only temporary, I’m so grateful to see him bounce back to his old self again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kindness Dr Schwabe. A big thank you also to the ladies at reception for the hugs and care and for following up the next day. Dr Schwabe explained the road forward to me, what to look out for to ensure my cat does not suffer and has quality of life. I’ve never experienced so much care and compassion at a vet practice and this will definitely be my vet of choice in the future.

I would like to thank Dr Simone from Uitzicht Animal Clinic for all her care and compassion towards my kitty Mommy Cat. She explained everything in detail to us. Keep up the EXCELLENT work!
I feel I have to take the time do this and give praise where it is deserved. By far the best experience I have ever had with any veterinary team, time after time, they never disapoint. They care as much about our animals as we do! The team is amazing! Fantastic service, very informative about my pets conditions, their diagnosis and prognosis. Dr Schwabe is very knowledgeable and always explains everything in detail. His experience shows and instils confidence! The reception is always friendly, very helpful and makes you feel comfortable and at ease when you have a Milo (pug/ jack russel mix) barking up a storm non-stop in the waiting room, so much patience and understanding. Absolutely love Uitzicht Vetinary Clinic. Go to Dr Schwabe and his team they really know what they are doing. We’ve had Dr Schwabe remove Mila’s spleen and literally save her life. He diagnosed Bullet with Fanconi syndrome and on Friday Milo is having a kidney with a tumour removed by Dr Basson. We have full trust in this team, they do excellent work. You will not go wrong with Uitzicht Vetinary Clinic. Keep up the EXCELLENT work and thank you for all that you do.
