I am disgusted by the service provided by these people, I don’t know how a reputable company like ABSA is affiliated with them. We pay insurance to rid ourselves from headaches however it simply isn’t that way. My home was broken into on Thursday 06/02 and still haven’t received any assistance up till today even though absa has already paid them out. On top of all the phone calls going back and forth from ABSA to umhlanga plumbers, a lady from Umhlanga plumbers has the audacity to tell me “your house isn’t the only house that’s been broken into”. I’m sleeping at home with 2 kids that are traumatised, we hardly had slept from that day till now. I haven't attended work, absa has paid them out for certain items but these guys want to supply cheaper stuff. Terrible service.

UmhlangaPlumbers was a well established company but the Demise of the owner has left this company to drop to it's standards and reputation, hence after the new owner took over ,the company which had standards and reputation sunk to the ground, the workmanship is very unprofessional and inadequate. The new owner runs after money only and forgets loyalty. Above all her staff even complaints about Her , Her rudeness is below standards to being a professional, reputable business She honestly acts like a Man .

My toilet Cistern was leaking into the toilet pan after flushing. I went to umhlanga plumbers as I live 2min from their offices, which is 750 meters from my house and it’s next to my children’s school. I met Lorraine and told her what was the problem, she said she will send a plumber to inspect the problem, I asked her roughly how much that might cost but she said she couldn’t tell since the plumber still had to inspect the problem, fair enough. The plumber arrived, checked and said the whole cistern is broken and need to be replaced, I was like ‘No’ that can’t be, he said he’ll find out with his office what the next step, but lucky for me he told me since it Geberit cistern they carry 10 year warranty .I should call them and and let him know if the outcome. He gave me a blank tax invoice to sign , in my understanding it was a job card to say he did infect come to inspect not suspecting anything since there was no amount. I then received an email from them with the same signed tax invoice now with amount R 632.50 on it. For what, for driving 2min to lift a flap on the cistern. He spent 10 min but on the invoice he said he sent 30 min. Geberit did sent their own plumber, the plumber spent exactly 8min he discovered it was worn out hooks that needed to be replaced. The story from umhlanga plumber about changing the whole cistern unit was a lie. The hooks that the guy changed would have costed less the R100, but look what Umhlanga plumbers charged me just to inspect and lie. Please be very careful dealing with these thieves, make sure you get a second opinion. Do not trust them, do not sign anything they give you, make sure they tell you the amount before entering your home. They are unethical, they are just low life criminals. Beware. If they can steal R632.50 from my children’s mouth who knows what else they are capable of. Home owner beware, please if You need excellent reliable plumbers use Williamson plumbers.

I have been totally ripped off by Umhlanga Plumbers they cost me over R18000.00 to fix the issuses they caused and still to this day I have yet to get any kind of response from the owner Ronnie about the damage his driver/plumber Raj caused. All I have got from them are lies, expence and dissapointment. Do not trust these people they will end up costing you money and anger.

Umhlanga Plumbers and I had a run in where they caused a lot of damage to my property by careless and sub standard workmanship and I had to get another company to sort it out I repeatedly contacted there owner Ronnie who refused to take my calls or attend to the problem. There supervisor Raj admitted to them being at fault and promised repeatedly that they were going to rectify the damage and he also that they had no insurance to cover the damage caused by them and that Ronnie would sort this out. I have tried many times after that to deal with the issues and the costs related to the problem (even going to their offices) and I was lied to by every employee that I spoke with from the receptionist to the owner . They claim to be top of their game but from my experience they are untrustworthy and complete fraudsters.

These guys were used in a geyser repair. I was under the understanding that my geyser was going to be replaced with a new unit and the unit was going to be place outside as ceiling access was poor. These guys get to my premises with a unit to put in my ceiling. The roof was opened to do this. <br> Their people are extremely rude to me during this time. my concern was that I did not want to infer with the roof as its 50 years old.
