After careful consideration of whether or not to post, I have decided to speak up against our bad reviews.

Every bad review we have received has another side to the story. Our side.

A new bad review is heading it's way to this platform and we are totally for people having the right to speak their mind, but with this specific review that will be made, we are really not wrong.

When people smoke and they stay in a frail care house, we send them their cigarettes and tell them that they are allowed to smoke outisde in the tea garden if they can get themselves there, we won't be asking our Careworkers to take them out to smoke every 5 minutes as we have other frail care patients that don't smoke and need assistance.

We are being accused of not providing food for our residents, which is not true, our residents get 3 meals every day and those that can't eat by themselves get fed by their Careworker.

We have very special people staying at UBD, some of the kindest most sincere people you have ever met and then we do have some of the most difficult people ever. People that will lie and deceive to make life difficult for those around them, those that are ungrateful and feel they are never wrong. Those people usually influence family of other residents and the family doesn't talk to us as Management to find out what the truth is. We always encourage and ask everyone to please come to us and talk so we can rectify when we've done wrong and also provide CCTV footage to state what we know is true and factual.

To this specific person who is currently very upset with us and the way her mother in law has been treated, we won't accept the blame for the accusations against us as we are not wrong. We did not mistreat her in any way. We would have loved if you could have come to us and ask us if what you heard from another patient was in fact true or not.
