Scam artists and Thieves.
Do not buy from this company, they take your money and do not deliver the product. They are a scam, you can email them, you get no reply, you try to contact them on the number they provide and you get a message from the telephone provider that the number is not available. If you do decide to purchase from them, you do so at your own peril.

Thieves that will take your money and ignore any attempt to contact them.
After placing an order in late 2019 I was notified that their stock had so-called suffered water damaged. My mails got ignored for ages before somebody finally got back to me in February 2020. Still, no stock and that was the last I heard from them. Any attempt to contact them since has been unsuccessful. Absolutely shameful business and I wouldn't recommend anybody else to touch them.

Well done Unihobbies SA!
I must say I was nervous to buy from this company judging from all the reviews online, but since new management has taken over, My order was literally received one day later! I buy from many online stores, but I must applaud the delivery time and follow up call from Natalie. Great service Unihobbies!

I must say I was nervous to buy from this company judging from all the reviews online, but since new management has taken over, My order was literally received one day later! I buy from many online stores, but I must applaud the delivery time and follow up call from Natalie. Great service Unihobbies!

Appalling service and disregard for customers
On the 10/04/2018 I placed an order for a school project which was due on the 19 April 2018. Mr. Muhammed(one of the senior team member) promised during the phone conversation, that they will receive the order either on 12 or 13 April 2018. I will then be able to receive it on the 16th, latest 17 April. The order did not arrive and he tried to pin the blame on me, his explanation is that I should have sent an email indicating that the order was due on a particular date. He then a half-hearted gave an apology when he realised that I have a recorded conversation where he made that commitment claiming that the telephone conversations do not hold weight. He continuously asked me to understand their internal processes even as I offered to collect the goods from their warehouse, or for them to combine the project and deliver it complete to the school. I am advising everyone to be very wary of this company. I find them unprofessional, zero customer service, inflexible, internally focused on processes that do not help customers. I find no value in the company. Just appalling. My child and her friends got Zero their project.

Great Help and service
On 26th April I was on the lookout for an Arduino Board to start with and Kit, The Gentlemen contacted me and explained to me how Arduino works and what He recommends to me, I must say I was Wowed! He went as far as sending me basic projects to start with. I Purchased the Arduino UNO , very powerful board, I then purchased an Arduino Kit , It took few days as they had no stock , But was always kept in the loop regularly, I received my Arduino Kit and fun fun fun all the way! I will definitely be purchasing again in the near future! Thanks a mil!

Great Help and service

No delivery or follow up
I ordered electronic items online via Unihobbies. I was annoyed but stayed patient when Unihobbies informed me that they didn't have everything in stock. Surely you put only the items in stock up for sale?<br> I was prepared to wait until end of January for the items to be delivered. The 30 of January was there last email from the Director, promising to delivery. Today 10/03/2016 am I still without any back orders parts or any refunds.<br> I requested clearly that 30 January is the cut-off date for delivery, thereafter must they refund.<br> I am still waiting for them to respond. My next step will be legal action or money recover steps.<br> I am flabbergasted by this unprofessional service from Unihobbies. I will not recommend them to any person.

GREAT SERVICE
Since I am a big fan of Arduino, I went back to purchase from Unihobbies as I am a regular client, I just find there timing and delivery so much quicker than other suppliers. <br> I purchased the Arduino Experimentation Kit, I emailed unihobbies and spoke to a lady by name of Natalie, I have to thank her for such amazing service, When I got my experimentation kit I also had a free arduino UNO R3, which was a great surprise! Not all businesses do this but I must say with service like this I will be back to purchase more!
