Ecu mapping = ****!!! Tcu Mapping = ****!!!! Customer service = A joke that’s not funny. I have a 2006 Audi A3 2.0T Fsi DSG dq250 box Ko4 550nm 270kw / 370hp Had about 118000km on at the time and very well maintained. Have a whole bunch of high quality mods on the vehicle and supporting mods. Originally did stage 1 Ecu with the ko3 turbo And I did stage 2 Tcu which stated handles 600nm. I had bad shifting. Also a couple of rev shoot ups standing at the robot trying to pull away and vehicle goes nowhere. Thought this was a mismatch on the Tcu software being designed for ko4……so bit the bullet and did ko4 with all the proper mods and extras. Got UNI stage 2 and stage 2+ Ecu software. Clutch then started slipping. Replaced Clutch plates and oil with all OEM equipment. ( Ecu mapping is a ball of **** too, you can feel the fuel stages on the mapping like stairs going up, not smooth and linear, has killed 4 O2 sensors in +-3 months) New Clutch held for +- 2 weeks and started slipping again. Car wasn’t even at full power as I had boost pipe keep popping off from UNI intercooler. I made sure to ride really chilled to not hurt the clutch now, and started fault finding and discussing the issue. Was told to reflash Tcu stage 2. Did it and the slipping was still there. I did the research and testing and found the clamp pressures to be at 11 bar and peaked at it’s absolute best 13,7. Now UNI stage 2 Tcu says 600nm and clamping at 14 bar. Another company, very well renowned for DSG Specialty and VAG group tuning, who openly posts there mapping figures states… Stage 2 DSG 500nm clamp at 15-16bar Stage 3 DSG 600nm clamp at 16-17bar Interesting… could the be why my clutch was failing? ( turns out yes!) Was told to do stage 3 as diagnostic from UNI to my tuner and if works then the stage 3 is free. Mapped Stage 3 and boom no slip and gears are much smother and direct. UNI still charged my tuner for the stage 3. I complained to them about them causing me to be R22 000 out of pocket for killing my clutch , they gave me a ****ty response and didn’t even read my email correctly. I responded to them again and now they have just ghosted me, as if I don’t exist. I know another Audi S3 with same or similar mods to mine making same power that killed two clutches on the same UNI stage 2 TCU. This is a tuning shops personal car. It’s not just my car, there is a issue with the mapping, it’s is not 600nm capable.. My car made 550nm with brand new clutch plates and it failed!!!

BEWARE !!! STAY AWAY FROM UNITRONICS. DO NOT HAVE ANY PRODUCTS REPAIRED WITH THEM!!! I handed in a Samsung S7 for repairs at the Samsung shop in Sumerset Mall on the 9th January 2018. Had to pay R 228.00 for assessment fee. Waited 12 days for a quotation . On 9th Feb 18 I instructed Unitronics Smartcare & Elcardo Theunis via email to proceed with the repairs. After no response from Unitronics regarding the status of the repair, I was contacted by Lisa on 10th April to inform me that I had to pay upfront for the repair. On 12th April 18 I did the EFT payment to Unitronics R 2 724.00. After numerous attempts to establish the status of the repair , I was informed by Elcardo Theunis on the 26th April 18 that I must contact Samsung direct as Unitronics does not support product repairs anymore and that my phone was sent to Samsung Head Office in Johannesburg I then contacted Samsung on the 26th April 2018 and spoke to N, who requested me to send all supporting documentation to Samsung. All supporting documentation was sent to Samsung on 26th April 18. On 2nd May 18 I spoke to T at Samsung call center regarding the status of my query. I was informed that it does not reflect on their system that the phone was received. I have tried to contact Elcardo Theunis of Unitronics ********** ) with address UNITRONICS: Electronic Service Centre 11 Park Lane , C/O Park & Century Way, Century City, T: ********** / ********** / ********** , F: ********** , to send me proof that the device was delivered to Samsung HQ as stated by him on 26th April 2018. To date I have only received an automated reply stating that Unitronics no longer provides support, repairs or servicing of mobile phones. The whereabouts of my phone could not be established and Elcardo has not sent me proof that the phone was sent to Samsung HQ. Unitronics does not answer any emails or telephone calls.

Shocking service!!! Waiting for my Samsung phone repair since 9 March. No communication from their side and next to impossible to reach them. Not only has this cost me for the repair but for a replacement phone as well. Absolutely pathetic!

What a horrific experience dealing with Unitronics in Century City - the so-called official repair centre for Samsung. Went there to collect my BlueRay Player on Friday, 23rd March - told it wasn't there because they are moving but it would be delivered to my home that evening, then again Saturday early afternoon, still nothing - despite lots of phone calls and promises that its on the way. As expected their website is under construction and there is no way to track down any Management Layer - if one exists

I handed my phone in on 9 February for a screen repair and it took 8 days just to receive a quote. I sent proof of payment on the 20th of February and now, more than a month later, I am told that they are still waiting on parts! To make things worse, the phone at their help-desk in the Samsung Tygervalley branch is never answered! I once ended up driving from my house with my daughter redialing the number continuously up until I got to the shop…no answer for almost 15 minutes straight! Not engaged, ringing but no answer!!!! This was almost two weeks ago and, while there, I was shown a photo of a huge pile of boxes, the parts! I was promised that I would get feedback by that Monday, now 10 days ago already!

For the past one year I have been sent from Pillar to Post by Unitronics after the were unable to find my laptop that I dropped of for repairs at the Samsung Repair Centre in Canal Walk. The owner of the Samsung repair franchise made several calls and false promises to me in response to my query on my lost device. I have run out of patience. It is one year later, still no device. Disgusted.
