Brilliant work
I recently had repairs done on my roof and couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. From the very first interaction, the team was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to thoroughly assess the issues, explain everything clearly, and provide honest recommendations without any pressure. The workmanship was outstanding. Every detail was handled with care and precision, and it’s clear they take real pride in what they do. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left the site spotless—something that’s often overlooked but very much appreciated. What truly stood out was their reliability and integrity. They delivered exactly what they promised, on schedule and within budget, which is rare to find. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
We spent a lot of money putting gutters on our house but would never recommend this company to anyone. The quality of the work was not up to standards (and the money spent) and we had to call them back a few times to ‘fix’ their work which was not complete as per our request. Very unhappy and disappointed.

We spent a lot of money putting gutters on our house but would never recommend this company to anyone. The quality of the work was not up to standards (and the money spent) and we had to call them back a few times to ‘fix’ their work which was not complete as per our request. Very unhappy and disappointed.

Disappointed
After completing and submitting a request for a quotation for roof repairs, to my house in Boksburg. I received a polite watsapp text the next day declining my request as I was courteously informed that this Company does not service this area. I am so surprised that in this day and age and with the current economy that companies can still afford to pick and choose which clients they want to service and not. My solar company was based in Pretoria West yet they still came out for installations and also afterwards twice thereafter. Randburg is not that far off .

Disappointed
After completing and submitting a request for a quotation for roof repairs, to my house in Boksburg. Absolutely Appalling Service – A Complete Rip-Off
I deeply regret hiring Universal Roofing. Less than a month ago, they “fixed” my roof to resolve leaks, charging me close to R80,000. Despite their assurances and promises of a 3-year warranty, the roof is now leaking worse than before. Water is dripping everywhere, causing extensive damage to my main bedroom, including the wardrobes, wooden headboard, and lounge furniture. When I reported the issue, instead of honoring their warranty, they had the audacity to demand an additional R4,500 to fix what was clearly their failed work. This is beyond unacceptable! How can a company take such an exorbitant amount of money for repairs, only to deliver such substandard and unreliable workmanship? Stay far away from Universal Roofing unless you want to waste your money and end up with worse damage than you started with. This has been nothing short of a nightmare!
