They have contracted their security to this horrible Ghanaian who will only pay R90.00 per night to his security officers if you're lucky enough to be paid. Otherwise he will give them the runaround until they give up on him. It's an absolute SHAME ON URBANVEST!!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. The worst place I've ever lived at was a Urbanvest property (Silber Court). Firstly, poorly maintained. Mold all over the bathrooms, no pest control. But that's just the start. They will charge you for everything you can imagine and then some. Their monthly admin fee was always fluctuating. Upon moving out, they try by all means to make sure you don't get a single cent of your deposit. They'll charge you for unnecessary paint work, keys they never gave you, things that aren't even broken/damaged. I regret having spent the little time I did there. WORST.

People of South Africa be aware of URBANVEST PROPERTY is a ****. This agency can welcome you with warm hands ,but moving out is a serious problem they won't pay the same like other agencies but within 21 days which they don't care.. "Please note that it will take 21 working days to calculate all deductions from your deposit. While we understand your current situation, we are unable to expedite this process" what is national cosumer saying about this kind of agency in South Africa that own by foreign nations.

Salber Court is one flat you don't want to lease because it's very noisey...if you love peace and quiet flats don't consider Salber courts by Urbanvest...the caretaker doesn't care when we report the matter, it's very noisy you will be waken up by someone playing music on full blast at 8am on a Monday morning...with no particular reason.

If I could give a minus star I would gladly do so. My experience at The Central Residence was by far the worse. The rats in the building are crazy you can’t even put your laundry by the washing line. The ****roaches in the building that never gets fumigated even maintaining your own apartment is difficult as the moment you open the door or keep your windows open the flying big ones come in. Not to mention the fact that the care taker would flirt with ladies he likes which he never scolds them for noise making or high volume music but the moment you raise your volume he sends you a warning even his stuff is not happy. Okay, let’s leave the internal issues. The deposit required. The URBAN VEST company is one of the biggest ****ming company you can ever find. The building manager would use old pictures of apartment condition and make you sign when moving in and the moment you move out you get a Refund of R300 knowing exactly that you paid your hard earned R5500 to move in as deposit to the place. What makes matters worse is that initially when I was moving to a bigger apartment within the same building I was not even charged a cent considering the fact that I’m moving within. The very quick to approve people when moving in but keeping the standards is a far fetched memory. Worse, the care taker DIYs everything in that building to save money for his bosses yet the building keeps getting damaged day by day. We nearly died in our flats when the power station burned down due to the lift maintainance done. If you are considering moving to any URBAN VEST RESIDENCE just tell your self you are giving them your deposit money for free and won’t ever get back. ****ed. Ooh, and please don’t even bother saying the office will respond to my review don’t patronise me😡

The power has been cut for 2 days to paying tenants and they respond to us with pure disrespect when we are frustrated, when all we need is answers. I'd never recommend this accommodation for anyone. Leasing administrator called " Jaylin Hans" is just pain.

They don’t want to refund all of my deposit because a frame was rusty . Of which the frames weren’t painted when I moved in. I stayed 7 months then they want to tell me in seven months I had demaged frames of windows that I wasn’t opening because when you open them they were making funny noise and I opted not to open them because I was scared they would fall on me and I had to pay. Urbanvest has a reputation of not refunding deposit. To paint a frame of a window at Urbanvest is R1100. They are left with my paint which which will last them for more than 2 years . Honestly it’s not on to maintain their building.
