Besides the place being dusty, blood on the linen and a creepy peeping tom who was assisting us, we were broken into overnight, while our family was asleep with a 6 month old baby. The staff member/ members entered our unit while we were asleep and cleaned us out. Collecting cell phones, jewelry and our car keys to get the laptop that was in the car boot. Rummaged through our clothes and took everything and anything of value from phones, laptops and jewelry to vapes, speakers and a belt. Over R100 000 worth of valuables. He literally took his time and went through all our bags, while were were in the unit sleeping! What would have happened if someone woke up? Would we be killed? We suspect being drugged as it's strange that nobody woke up. The police informed us that this is a monthly occurrence with guests being lured on the pretenses of a holiday resort and get ****** by the staff. We later found many complaints online about guests being ****** in the same way, yet there is no security and the surveillance camera's conveniently don't work. What resort would not beef up security and terminate the staff, after the first *******. Instead they advertise on sites like Hyperli and Tripadvisor knowing very well the fate of their guests. The peeping Tom has been working there for 10 years yet over 10 groups of guests have been ******. We have not been refunded or offered any sort of compensation for this except to stay another night with a free boat ride!!!! Make it make sense! This resort needs to be shut down and legal action taken against it.

Stay away. Pics on site are very old. This place is run down and disgusting. Managed to stay the night but left 7am to book elsewhere 1. Worst experience!! Website is totally outdated. This resort was not covid friendly. Extremely unsafe!! Pool was green. We had bugs in our bed. No wifi or television as advertised. Had to pay additional for the deck and hot tub. Owner is extremely ****y. Stay away!!!

I called Vaal Prive Boat Cruise (083 297 7286) to inquire more for booking a Cruise and I only got insulted. How do you call you customer stupid for wanting to understand how you run your ****.

i have never been this humiliated in my life. i phoned this company this morning to be assisted with a client that took a package with us the owner or manager at the company carl answered the phone i advice him why im phoning and he started accusing me and the company of untrue stories he not only did that he bad mouthed his own worker. i wanted to correct him he didn't give me a due to speak i couldn't keep up with the call anymore and he started calling me a dumb **** etc.... thank God the call was on recording because now i have proof and i do feel i want to take the matter future. honestly i would never want to do any service with this company or nor would i advice anyone to do so. first impression always counts.

<p>Booked for a boat cruise for the 26 November 2016 @ 13:00 with Madelein Jacobs, the Person I dealt with to book the cruise . On Monday the morning on the 21 November I confirm on the same email where she confirmed booking of 13:00. On the day of the cruise she calls at 10 asking if we on our way since we booked for a 10 o'clock cruise. She refused to listen to my side of the story and was very rude even spoke in her own language (Afrikaans) I never even received an apology she kept saying it was a spelling error and when I demanded my refund she hanged up on me when i call back she would pick up and keep quiet I tried for a couple of times till I gave up. I want her to be dealt with and I want my refund. Never in my life have I been so disrespected never.</p>
