Telkom has the worse customer service ever. I’ve been with Telkom for more than 10 years using their services perfectly. but this year they did something I’ve never seen before I had an insurance under Telkom which is admin plus. When I took the insurance I was advised if I miss a payment they will be a penalty fee of R200 that I’m going to be charged by which last year October I was late for my payment by which a Telkom and it up even disconnecting my service. but on the 25th of November I made a full payment for my insurance and my Telkom account, when I experience a problem of losing my phone this year I sent through my claim the insurance advise me that my insurance was cancelled by Telkom in January. no communication was sent to me advising me that my insurance will be cancelled if I do not make the payment the strangest part I had money in my account but Telkom decided not to debit me. it’s three weeks now without a phone when I’m trying to speak to them they keep sending me back and forth. The first agent told me I was the one who sent a cancellation for my insurance and gave me a date that I cancelled my insurance on the 15th of March. The other Telkom agent I spoke to indicated I cancelled my insurance on the 14th of March basically I have received four different dates with regards to my cancellation which means they also do not know what they are doing. I would like to advise people to never take admin plus insurance which is under Telkom. Because basically after 24 months they decide to cancel your insurance without informing you, I have sensor multiples of emails to admin plus and Telkom trying to advise them to please reinstate my insurance but they keep sticking to their words that I cancelled the insurance due to non-payment. strangest part us to receive statements indicating that I need to pay for my insurance I thought on something gets cancelled they should stop immediately sending me statements. rather go take your insurance with different insurance company and use a different network I’ve never been so disappointed they refuse to refund me the thousand rand that I’ve paid. and I have tried every option trying to resolve this issue but there is no success😡😡😡 I would never recommend Telkom to anyone!!
