Vein Centres South Africa - they only make the veins worse!
<div>I received sclerotherapy treatments at the Vein Centre and they completely botched the procedure. It resulted in very bad and permanent scarring on my legs. The staff and Dr Blignaut have done absolutely nothing to remedy the effects that they caused. They just threaten me to try and get me to be quiet. DO NOT GET YOUR VEINS TREATED HERE!</div>

Dr Johan Blignaut at the Vein Centre / Vein Surgery
Dr Johan Blignaut was completely negligent and only caused more damage to my legs. He claims to be able to treat varicose veins with a combination of surgery and sclerotherapy, but instead he only caused the veins (both varicose and spider) to get worse! After telling him about the negative results of his treatment, he refused to do anything about it. And how I am stuck with the negative results, which are painful and unsightly. Stay far away from this destructive crook!

Dr Johan Blignaut was completely negligent and only caused more damage to my legs. Very bad experience with vein removal treatment. The procedure was done by technicians. I don't know what qualifications they had. They missed a lot of the problem areas and caused a lot of bruising and bleeding. The treatment did not fix the problem, only made it worse. A year later, the veins have not gone at all, and the bleeding/ vascularity has remained and spread. Dr Johan Blignaut did not care at all. Complete waste of money and a regretful experience.

First impressions are usually the right ones
I decided against using their services because they're disinterested in their clients and only concerned about making money. That's the impression I got from the person tasked with answering queries and making appointments. She only half-read my first e-mail, but made sure I knew what the prices were and that this was not covered by medical aid (my mistake - I mentioned I was a state employee). When I sent another e-mail in the new year, hoping she'd left but otherwise asking to get a more complete response from another person, she ignored this request - but made sure I knew the prices had increased! I then informed her she'd cost her practice at least one customer, and she seems quite okay with that. What's happening at the bottom, is a reflection of what's happening at the top - I would never entrust any part of my body into the care of such sharks. No matter how wonderful their website claims they are! I'll send the review to them, but I'm sure she'll just delete it without another thought...
