I am utterly disgusted with Velociti couriers!!! Their employees are using the company number for personal matters and harass people!! They refused to lay a formal complaint for me and I demand a proper investigation!

Velociti called me on the 21 Oct 2016 claiming they are MTN direct and that my contract was eligible for an Upgrade. which i am aware of... i spoke to Pamela from the call centre and she proclaimed that they are not a 3rd party company and they from MTN direct. only to find after doing the upgrade they have sent me the wrong phone on the 31 Oct 2016. i called MTN direct ********** 667 and was advised by Lalisha Munien that my contract is with Velociti and not MTN. ref no is ********** 54 and she gave me the details of Velociti. called Velociti on ********** and spoke to Veeran who is as rude as hell. advised that they cannot cancel 1st until i asked to speak to a manager of which i was advised that they cannot speak to the public. i wonder why are they managers then. eventually my wife called as the contract is on her name and after numerous phone calls the id**t Veeran sed that he will cacell the upgrade and arrange for the phone to be collected. She asked for a ref no yesterday and Veeran didnt have 1 yesterday. she called MTN deliveries ********** 491 spoke to amanda this morning and was advised that she needs a IMEI no or ref no from Velociti. Called Velociti again, this morning 01 Nov and was advised that the ref no is UV ********** ... called RTT Collections dept ********** and was then told to speak to MTN for them to arrange collection.

called MTN ********** 564 spoke to zama gave her all the information that she needed and she couldnt assist.

Please can someone assist or my contract WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are no words to explain the kind of ****ed off I am!!!

An agent from your FNB Connect sales department has fraudulently activated a contract on my name AND debited my account.

I did not agree to this, I have not even inserted the FNB Connect sim into my phone?!

This agent has instigated a whirlwind of inconvenience for me because I cannot make calls, sms or whatsapp due to my original sim card (which is still in my phone) being deactivated. My number has been ported to the FNB Connect sim card, without my consent or knowledge.

What if I have an emergency? How do I contact anyone for help, I can't even do my banking.

This is now costing me MY time and money because I have to buy another sim card to rectivate my number. AND I'm going to lose my sim contacts!

I want this sorted out and NOW!!!

My father aged 76, was contacted by Velocity (an MTN approved agency) and then conned into giving out personal information which has resulted in an unothorised upgrade on not just 1 but 3 of the accounts linked to his name.

This is after we had been into MTN and told them that he was no longer of sound mind and to change the contact person on the account to myself.

After spending 4 hours in Mtn shop, a round trip of 100kms and a total loss of income of around R600, and not forgetting the loss of income to the business of a few thousand rands as mtn cut off our interne, I was told there is nothing that can happen. Mtn cannot tell me who changed the account, they can't reverse it either until the fraud blah blah has been investigated. So in a nut shell, I'm outta pocket in a big way thanks to mtn and its colleagues. I loose money, time and have a aged father who is now so stressed out wondering if it was a scam, wondering if he's going to loose money from his bank account and so on...

It's unbelievable that if all this could be done in a phone call, that it can't be undone. It's unreal how you treat your long time clients, you sicken me...really disgusting to say it politely.

How can I get this resolved quickly? I want it back the way it was a few days ago..now

Velociti ontacted me to upgrade my contract through MTN Direct in February 2016. I was told that the new phone would be delivered in 10 working days. Come March, the phone had not come, although MTN had begun charging me on the new rates.

Called Velociti numerous times until finally they answered. The agent told me that they had called me to confirm delivery - this was a lie as I had not recieved any calls from unknown numbers at the time she had specified. She then said they would deliver within a week.

A week came and went but no phone had arrived.

In April, having paid fees for two months, I finally managed to get hold of them (as they seem to ignore calls more than they answer them) to cancel the delivery through them.

However, when I went into my MTN store to get a phone directly, they told me that Velociti had not cancelled the delivery and this needs to be done directly through them!

Last week, on 20 May 2016, I finally got through to Velociti again, and the lady said that their systems were slow and she would call me back in 15 minutes - which she never did.

Velociti seem to have taken many people on a similar ride, and MTN need to be doing something since they are the service provider. However it seems that both companies are content passing the buck back and forth between them, sadly at the expense of the customer.

I recently upgraded my mtn contract through velociti. After battling endlessly to get hold of them, they finally arranged to fetch a phone they sent (they sent the wrong size phone). I chose to terminate the upgrade in order to deal directly with MTN (through a mtn direct store) to avoid another disaster. Well.....velociti promised to cancel the upgrade and get back to me immediately to confirm this.....did they? NO! and when i subsequently called them on a friday at 2pm they hung up on me several times.
