Wonderful Experience at Vergenoegd!!

I was looking for a nice outdoor venue for my sister's babyshower. I sty in Johannesburg and my sister in Cape Town, therefore had to entirely trust the internet for this. I found Vergenoegd Wine Estate online and was immediately drawn by the WONDERFUL pics of their working ducks, which I thought would be perfect for a babyshower.

I booked via email, spoke to them once or twice, paid the deposit.

When I arrived at the venue on the day, everything was set up for me already. They had marques covers to give shade, beautiful wooden tables, cutlery & glasses already placed. As we set up the decor, multiple staff members offered to help us and they made us feel very welcome.

Our table waiter introduced himself to me and explained how the day would go. He didn't disappoint at all!! Throughout the day the service was on-point, the food was amazing and the wine flowed. I appreciated how multiple staff members would check in with us throughout the day to ensure that we were having a good day. Even if the waiter saw that someone was helping themselves with a drink, he would come and assist, he was really very very good.

We also had at-least 2 different managers join us to offer their service, to tell us about the farm. They also offered to walk us through the farm as it is a true hidden gem in Stellies.

We CAN'T thank them enough for the wonderful day. We can't wait to go bac**** The duck parades are really just fabulous and something rather unique.They also have a market there with all sorts of goodies.

You really do feel that all the staff members of Vergenoegd are proud of their work and Estate. They work with passion and that is rather scarce these days!!
