If you care about your families health, do not use Verminator!

Last year we had the worse experience imaginable. We called Verminator to come and sort out an issue we were having with mites inside the house. They sprayed the incorrect poison inside (they used a harsh external poison incorrectly: This was confirmed by two other fumigation companies after the fact).

Basically they ruined our furniture (all beds, couches, pot plants, etc.) and were aggressive with their use. Spraying all the walls and ceilings with the incorrect product.

My pregnant wife and 3 year old daughter started showing symptoms so evident that we had to move out of the property immediately. The cleaning staff we got in at our own expense also started with the poisoning symptoms.

We booked ourselves into an Airbnb in the area for two nights, so that additional cleaning could be done. But when we returned, the symptoms of exposure started again. So we moved out once again. This happened for a total of three times! Needless to say the Verminator did not help one bit, other than saying that they would pay for the cleaning and Airbnb's which they then reneged on and say they would cover just two nights!

Due to their lack of help we had to move out of the property and cancel our lease prematurely and were hit with early cancellation penalties as a result.

They recommended we send my pregnant wife for blood tests, which we did. But to their own admission, they could not tell us what to test for! Which is why we are waiting on the results on the test from the lab. They said it would be forwarded to us in 2-3 weeks, it has been over 6 months and with chasing they have still not sen it through to us. Shocking tactic if you ask me, especially when a pregnant person and young child is involved.

Who knew that a "simple" Verminator engagement would cost me 100's of thousands rands all in all with all the cleaning, moving, penalties, alternative short term accommodations, etc.

Countless phone calls later I was put in touch with their lawyers to handle anything further. Legalese was all over their emails saying that they needed to test the sample of the product used on the property which they have still not shared the results for over 6 months later).

Of course, they were not going to admit any wrong-doing as per their lawyers phrases in their emails.

Seems like they just hoped I would "go away" over time. But here we are.

This is quite possibly the worst service and experience with a company I have ever experienced, and that is saying a lot.
