Versailles Guest House Villieria Pretoria
We had a confirmed booking at Versailles Guesthouse and checked in as arranged. We informed the attendant that we would be returning after 22:00, which was acknowledged. When we returned that night, the gate was locked and both listed attendants were unreachable — calls went straight to voicemail. There was no emergency contact available. We were left stranded outside late at night with our vehicle and luggage locked inside and had to arrange alternative accommodation. The room itself was also unacceptable. The carpets were very dirty and the one bathroom not up to standard. Despite formally requesting a refund, we have received no response from the guesthouse. This experience raises serious concerns about guest safety, cleanliness, and accountability. We cannot recommend this guesthouse.
