VIVIAN JOHN YOUNG IS A ****MER. He responded to an add on gumtree. He then asked for a Neteller account and tried to **** me. I did a quick check and found two reviews here confirming my suspicions. Always do your due diligence and never do things that seem suspicious to you.

'Mr Vivian John Young (a buyer from my Gumtree & Marketplace ads) instructed me to open a Neteller account in order to arrange a Shoprite courier to collect the items. I was instructed to make a cash sent payment of R1*** to secure the pick up. The second payment R1*** was because the buyer "mistakenly" chose the wrong Provence. I have loads of emails from Neteller and Mr Young. I have a copy of Mr Young's ID document and his email address. The above a copy of a complaint from another person who got caught the same way as I have, it has cost me a massive amount of money, I also told him I hold him personally responsible for my loss and want him to repay me for my loss, which he "agreed" to, as soon as I made the next Neteller fee demand and if they didn't keep their promise he would send me the amount I asked for which was less than I had forked out, but he never kept his promise either, I think he gets commission from Neteller when they eventually confiscate your money because you can no longer afford to keep on paying, which is what has happened in my case..

Watch out for this person. He is a *****ster. He get you to open a money app to transfer money for goods. Than asks you to pay the courier service so he can release the funds. I was lucky as I didn't trust him but he is smooth. Communicates over email and has a lot of stories.

This guy is a *****ster! Dont ever respond to any of his emails! He responds to ads on Junkmail or Gumtree and tells you download some payment app (Skrill in my case) in order to pay you for whatever you're trying to sell but then says he needs help from you to pay a pickup agent and he will then pay you for the item as well as whatever you paid the pickup agent on his behalf. I suspect he has hacked the payment app emails and he responds pretending to be them in order to create a false sense of security, he sends you his South African ID as well as the pickup agents ID and says he is a God fearing man and will never **** you. Then he says theres an extra cost that the pickup agent forgot to include and that you must now also make this payment and he will also give you that money back once you provide proof that you paid the agent by going to Shoprite. He sends emails from the app he made you download also saying they he put all the money in the app but it will only be released to you after you make these payments. He makes it seem like you are holding up the transaction by taking too long and that his account has already been debited and the only way you will see the money is if you 'help him' by paying the agent for him. He also says he has put in a little extra R200 into your app account for your effort. DONT PAY MONEY to *** Apparently, this guys ID number is *** The below is a complaint from another person who had a similar experience: 'Mr Vivian John Young (a buyer from my Gumtree & Marketplace ads) instructed me to open a Neteller account in order to arrange a Shoprite courier to collect the items. I was instructed to make a cash sent payment of R1250 to secure the pick up. The second payment R1480 was because the buyer "mistakenly" chose the wrong Provence. I have loads of emails from Neteller and Mr Young. I have a copy of Mr Young's ID document and his email address. I also have a cellphone number which was supposedly the courier driver.'
