I bought a pre-owned car, a Hyundai i20 Active, 2018 model,at the dealership on the 3rd of April. Within 21 days of the purchase I noticed that the car has signs of peeling off at the top and I informed them about it. I even took the car for them to check it. I was then told that they were not aware of such and they will get back to me. Currently the car is now peeling off at the tail gate. I took pictures and showed them. The salesman told me that he will show his manager and get back to me. He never did. Yes I understand that I bought a pre-owned car, but if I was aware that it was going to peel in this short space of time, I was not going to buy it. On top of that, the boot of the car is not opening.

This is the worst experience i ever had. I drove my vehicle from Pretoria home and when i reached home the vehicle did not want to start. The following day i arranged for the vehicle to be towed to vw Lenasia. I was advised that my Vehicles ECU is damaged and the warranty will not be covering for the part. they could not give me a valid reason why , they only advised that my vehicle has been Jump started which was never the case. They quoted me R33000 to repair . I toke the vehicle for a second opinion and they discovered that my relay fuse has been damaged. I am really disappointed as vw own technicians could not pick up the problem. they really know how to rip their customers off. I will never take my vehicle to VW lenasia ever again

So my car had a breakdown in September 2022 where the clutch failed. It was towed to VW Lenasia for repairs to commence. The repairs were claimed from my warranty and I wasn't afforded a courtesy vehicle. My car's been back to the same dealership 3 times already and it's still giving problems with the clutch, each time at a cost of nearly R2000.00 forked out on a courtesy vehicle. I was at the dealership again yesterday and it was taken for a test drive. Now VW Lenasia reckons the clutch need to be replaced again. How the hell do you replace a clutch in less than 7 months when it was not repaired properly in the first place? I want VW Lenasia to repair my vehicle under direct supervision of VW South Africa and arrange a courtesy vehicle for the inconvenience caused fot the past 7 months. I think I've just about had it with this dealer. Regards Jessica van der Westhuizen

Very disappointed and disgusted with the service I received from Volkswagen Lenasia. I took my car in for a small "fix up" in December. I was told it will take a day to do it. It took 3 days for them to actually repair my car. Then I was told the company has a campaign running where they are fixing the airbags. When I got my car back after this, my mirror adjusting knob on the door was broken. I contacted the dealership and they kept giving me excuses and said they will call me back. Eventually they did after speaking to the service manager. I was told they will fix the knob at no cost but I have to buy the knob myself. The audacity of them. I refused flat out because I did not break the knob so why should I pay for it. It is now 3 months later and I still have not gotten a response from them

I am writing to complain about the poor service rendered to me at VW Lenasia. On the 31st July 2019 my brother took my car for 75Km service at VW Lenasia, the service adviser by the name of Ashraf Baba serviced my car. Ashraf Baba called my brother to inform him that front wipers needs to be changed and he was asked to only service the car. Later I was contacted by uBaba informing me that my brother said that he must confirm with me to changed wipers (he talked as if my brother agreed), I agreed. I inform by my brother and my brother called u Baba to inform him not to changed wipers as per his first request, unfortunately he was told its done. Upon his arrival at home he noticed that the service book was not stamped or updated and this looks suspicious. I am not sure if the care was service, the invoice was printed around 10 o’clock, my understanding before you call a client to fetch his/her vehicle you check all the process/things are done correctly. on the 5th Aug 2019 we went to address the matter with the Service manager Aadil Mangera he refused to see us and resolve the matter
