What a great experience! Bought a used Amarok from Vredendal Volkswagen, Johan Compion went out of his way to assist even when I told him I have found another Amarok elsewhere that I like more, (only to find that it doesn't have all the specs needed), so I bought the Amarok from VW Vredendal. Ryno was so helpful, he even organized that my old vehicle's nr went to the new one at no charge! Jeanette was also super helpful, it's the first time I bought a vehicle in one day, normally it takes a week! 80 point check, insurance, finance, car tracker, extended warrantee, valet, registration, everything in 1 day!!! :-) The biggest moment was the reveal... How would I describe it? You must experience it for yourself!!! :-) Thank you Vredendal Volkswagen, I love my new ride!!!

My daughter's Tiguan had a faulty thermostat, and the Workshop Manager and his team went out of their way to assist us. Their dedication and excellent service were truly commendable. Thank you to Volkswagen Vredendal for the outstanding support—we really appreciate it

I bought a vw kombi T6 at Volkswagen Vredendal on the 14th of October 2021. When I collect the car I realize that it has some few problems. I told them about this problem and they said they do not have parts to fix so I should go to vw near my place and they will pay for it. I went to VW Arcadia in Pretoria and they fixed the car and sent them an invoice now they delay to do the payment. All they can say is give us an hour if not they keep on saying accountant is in the meeting. Volkswagen Vredendal are you treating me like this because I'm black? Is this how you treat all of your clients or it is only me because I'm BLACK? Could someone advise what to do so I can get my car back?

The worst experience I have ever had! I won’t even recommend this dealership to anyone not even my worst enemy. I honestly thought it would be smooth sailing since the Sales rep DOMINIC BROOKS was a friend turns out he is just a dishonest , back-stabbing , and manipulative person. My boyfriend purchased a vehicle for me as a gift in the beginning of August, he received the vehicle and was notified that the 80-point check was not done and this should have been done prior to delivery. Since he was a friend , my boyfriend spoke to him about new tyres since the tyre thread was low before the deal was done , he promised he would get the new tyres but never did. He didn’t even make a note about it and kept lying saying we never informed him about the tyres. I had to drive back and forth between Cape Town and Vredendal to do the 80-point and the repairs that needed to be done. I’ve travelled to vredendal twice already , I asked Dominic brooks when my number plates and disc will be changed and he kept making empty promises saying when I bring the vehicle in again. On every occasion of taking the vehicle in he had an excuse as to why the number plates weren’t done. He promised to come personally to Cape Town to do the number plates and license disc but it’s been almost 3 months waiting for him to do the licensing of the vehicle. After months of struggling with Dominic Brooks we came in contact with the sales Manager Nico Meintjies but the one is more useless than the other. He was arrogant and utterly disrespectful towards myself and my boyfriend. I spoke to Dominic brooks and he tried to pin the blame on us for not getting the numberplates done , yet went to vredendal 3 times already and he still did nothing about it. He informed me that I should do the licensing and roadworthy of the vehicle yet it should have been done prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. The level of customer service that they have is utterly disappointing , they keep having empty promises and blatantly ignored us until we went to MIOSA but they lied again to MIOSA putting the blame on us. The sales manager and the Sales rep both are ill-mannered and has no characteristics of a sales rep and manager as they have no idea on how to deal with customers. I am still waiting on my number plates and the license disc is expiring next week. It has truly been a horrendous experience. Please save yourself the trouble and don’t do a deal with these people because you will wait your whole life for what you want. At this point I just want them to take the vehicle back because they have truly made this an unpleasant experience. Volkswagen Vredendal this is not the last time you will hear from me and this I promise you .

Thank you Vredendal Volkswagen, you have redeemed yourself, I have received very good service from Jo-Anne & she managed to replace both my 2017 Amaroks headlights because of cracks on the inside although it was out of warrantee. Kind regards. Henlo

My first bad experience with VW Vredendal was a few months ago when I had a breakdown with my VW Touareg between Cape Town & Vredendal. I've phoned VW Vredendal & asked them if they could assist me. They said, sorry Sir, your VW is out of warrantee, so we can't help you. So there I stood beside the road with my father in law - that just came from hospital, my wife & 2 children, stranded. I've driven VW from my very first car, Golf MK1, Beatle, Jetta, Amarok & the Touareg & now VW tells me they can't assist me. A few months later I wanted to buy a VW Golf from VW Vredendal but the Golf was at a Dealer in Ermelo, so they made me an offer on my Touareg & said I should pay a R5000 deposit & they will get the car for me. Halfway through the process the salesmen resigned & the deal went over to the GM at the Vredendal branch. A week or 2 later the GM made a accident & we couldn't proceed with the deal, so the deal was cancelled. Still wanted to sell my Touareg but VW Vredendal wasn't helpful AT ALL, so I went to another dealer in Vredendal to sell the Touareg but they inspected the vehicle & noted it had an oil leak from the main bearing oil seal. I went back to VW Vredendal & asked them for a quote to repair the oil leak. They told me they cant do it locally but their other branch in Claremont has the right equipment to do the job, so they will give me an estimate. I've phoned VW for a month - every week to ask if they have a quote for me but until today they couldn't supply me with a quote, so I've sold the Touareg to WE BUY CARS, BEST service ever so by the way! Lots of time have past after I've made the deposit on the 1st of April & since then I've asked VW plenty of times for a refund but up to date I have still not received any refund. VW Vredendal was THE nr 1 VW in SA once but that changed drastically the past 2 years, STAY AWAY!

The worst experience I have ever had in my life! I won’t even recommend them to someone I don’t like. I thought, being a well-established and well reputed brand name, that this would be a smooth and easy process. Volkswagen is after-all a household name that is trusted and dependable. What I didn’t know was that what could usually be done in a couple of days, took them close to 2 months. I can now finally close the book and say good riddance! Trying to get info, is like extracting teeth, without numbing the area... Empty promises, false info and blatantly rude behaviour seems to be the level of client service they deem normal as during the 2 months I spoke to more than one salesman – the one more useless than the other and trying to put me in the wrong when clearly they seem to have absolutely NO idea of how to sell a car and treat a client. The licence disk expired – so I had to drive around with an unlicensed car even after the 21 day grace period & not registered to my name for 4 weeks. It’s truly been a horrendous experience and something I would really not ever want to repeat. Vredendal VW gives every salesman out there a terrible name and unfortunately to Volkswagen in a whole as well.

I just want to take a moment to thank you and your team for the great service I received this past week. I've been in the market for a new car for the past month +, and talked to a few dealers, but this was truly my best experience ever. Carlo (Makakela) called me almost immediately after I made the inquiry, and showed from the outset that he knew what he was talking about. There were one or 2 minor issues with my information (previous application) but between him and Rochelle they sorted it out quickly. Less than 24 hours after I signed up, we can enjoy our new car, all thanks to him and the man who drove the 300kms for delivery with him (forget his name now). These people are a great asset to your business, please take a good care of them. I will definitely contact VW Vredendal if myself or an acquaintance is in the market for a vehicle. regards
