COMPLIMENTS
Compliments to the Theatre Team at Vredenburg Provincial Hospital. I had a scheduled Gastroscopy on 12th February and was attended to by staff ( both at Admissions and Theatre Day Ward) that was extremely professional and helpful. The following staff deserves recognition: Sister Bilby - Many thanks for making us feel welcomed at Theatre and explaining the procedure in detail to us. I appreciate and salute your patient-caring attitude. Risiba - What an absolute delight to have you as our "carer" for the day. Continue delighting us as patients with your warm smiling demeanor. Alfranco - Thanks for supporting your colleagues and making their lives easier by doing all the admin. I welcomed your phone call and informing me about my appointment The Hostess -Her name I cannot remember, but she played an integral part in ensuring that all of us had something to eat after our procedure. Many thanks. Vredenburg Provincial Hospital can surely be proud of their Theatre Team because they are patient centric and definitely an asset to the Hospital

**** Poor health care Vredenburg Prov Hospital
My sister is suffering severe pain in her body, she went to the Vredenburg provincial government hospital to ask for a scan, They tell my sister THERE IS NO BRUISING OR VISUAL EXTERNAL SIGNS OF DAMAGE. so they will not do x-rays to check.. What dont they understand from the statement INTERNAL PAIN, are there no more committed COMPETENT medical practitioners in this country. SWAK!!!!!!!!!! MUST ONE FIRST SUFFER CATASTROPHIC OR LIFE THREATENING INJURIES before this Vredenburg hospital reacts!!!!!! We tax payers pay your damn salaries!!! Do something useful!!! Save a live....

BAD service!!!
Have been sitting here from 00:00 the morning and its now 01:47, I have been for observation but still haven't seen the doctor. Here are parents sitting with sick children who came in at 20:00 last night( 01/03/2019) but still haven't seen a doctor. The service is so bad. This is my second time visiting the Emergency section and everytime I come here I have to wait long. This is unexceptable, the system is failing us completely...they don't care if you get sicker or even collapse.

RUDE SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR!!!!!
Good day I would like to know why goverment employees doesnt know how to speak to peple over the phone, yet they are there to answer the phone. The switchboard operator, Maggie should really learn how to address people over the phone even if i ask her for her name as i normally would like to know who i speak to. Acting like shes superior over the phone is unexceptable. She should learn to treat EVERYONE WITH RESPECT, as this shows that all goverment employees act like this
