Worst car purchase 😭😔😭 I bought a car from this dealership towards the end of January 2024 , and upon my purchase I saw that it had scratches on the body , I showed the sales person Cameron amd he said he will book the car in for the scratches , after a week i heard noise when I was braking and i called him to inform him about the noise , he came to take the car and returned later and said it is fixed . Few days later I noticed 2 chips on the windscreen right next to the rearview mirror clearly I did not notice them at first and I complained to him again .. mind you I also had no spare key , which he eventually gave me but it was not the original spare it was cut by a locksmith, I asked for this apare since the purchase of the key . In march the noise on the car started when I'm braking and I informed him once again , he rudely told me he is tired and he is driving that I should bring the car and that water can make the noise if the car was washed and the noise will go away , I thought to myself this is the first I am hearing this but , I could not go immediately as Pretoria is far then I thought I will take leave and go . on Monday I saw a sign on the speedometer for the tyre pressure then I told him he said I must take the car to any VW ... I did on Tuesday and left the car there , upon my return I got the shock of my life as I was told that the noise is coming from the brake pads and the brake pads are not original VW brake pads ... I informed him about this but he is very defensive and he tells me he does not know anything about there car , he is only a sales person .... how on earth would they sell a car that does not have original brake pads ?? Then he gets very defensive and tells me it's a pre owned car ,,, they should have changed everything on the car before they sold it ....there is just too 1 person can take , from noise , no spare , cracked windscreen, no original brake pads and he still takes This lightly . He told me his manager will call me but there is no call up until now . This dealership is bogus , they have excuses, they don't care about their customers all they only care about sales . These are ****mers, I advice people not to think about buying a car in this dealership or else you will regret . I regret ever doing business with these people... They are not honest , they sell nonsense cars . I'm soo disgusted ... 1 dealership so many complaints, this is ridiculous and unprofessional. ****** ****mers.

They eish with our lives and worse I have insurance what if I get into an accident and the insurance does not pay out because the brake pads are not real VW brake pads ??? I am soo disappointed and angry ...this dealership is bogus how could they do that ... I would not recommend anyone to buy a car from this dealership, the do not care ... I want this fixed as soon as possible ... Why would you fit **** brake pads on the cars and who knows how many cars they have done this to . Safety is not their priority...they only care about sales

We bought a BMW 118i 2019 model at Bidvest McCarthy VW Master Cars Gezina in April 2023,the salesperson confirmed that the car was still under the motor plan until the May 2024 (we bought the car with the knowledge that the motor plan was still active. By the end of May the car needed to be serviced for rear and front brake pads, the car was taken to BMW where we learnt that the motor plan was suspended, we asked for a report stating the reasons why the motor plan was suspended. The reported stated the major problems that the car has and the recommendation was for the car to be taken to ARC (Auto Accident Repairs Centre) this was supposed to have been done before the car was handed over to the buyer however this was not done the only thing the dealership did was replace the wipers. BMW had done an assessment on the car and discovered that the car's suspension needed to be replaced as well as the rims were bent and needed to be replaced. BMW quoted the dealership- for the work that needed to be done with the car but the manager rejected the quotation and he decided he would take the car for a second opinion from Super quick. After several disagreements with Mr Nicky Thipe the manager at the dealership he decided to take the car to superquick where they only replaced the brake pads however all the things that were found wrong with the car after an assessment at BMW he did not address. a few weeks after the fetched the car from the dealership, I started have a slow puncher I had it looked the tire was intact however the rim had a massive crack that was fixed at my expense. The car from time to time reports that there is something wrong with the drivetrain and my service provider needs to look into it. The car makes squeaky noises it has been very unpleasant driving this car because of all the faults the car has, My wife drives this car, I work in North West and she is alone in Pretoria it is very stressful to have her complain about the car and the manager claims he cannot do anything to help her.

Good day, I would like this complaint to be shared with: 1. Dealer principal 2. Branch manager 3. McCarthy Volkswagen head office 4. Master Car On the 11th of November 2022, I did an inquiry about a Polo Cross 2012, I was told I can come and view the vehicle Saturday the 12th of November 2022, and on my way to Pretoria from Krugersdorp, I was told the vehicle was locked up in the workshop and I can’t view it but they will bring it to me on Monday the 14th of November 2022 but nobody even contacted me nor brought the vehicle through for me to view. I submitted my documents for finance on the 15th of November 2022. Then on Tuesday the 15th of November 2022 the salesperson made an arrangement with me to view the vehicle at my house between 12h00 and 13h00 and that did not materialize as well. Now I see the vehicle is on the website. I would like to understand how this was possible, I was misled and put under the impression that the vehicle would be sold to me. The salesperson told me the only delay was the fact that they were busy with an oils service and a brake service as well as fixing the upholstery on one of the seats and assured me that he will contact me as soon as the workshop is done with the work and then arrange a viewing and test drive at my preferred location. I had the expectation that I will be viewing the vehicle and signing for the purchase. If this is the manner in which McCarthy does business and treats their prospective clients, I am glad not to do business with this group. I am writing this complaint to bring to your attention that there is clearly a training need for your staff as well as customer service and business ethics, as this is a bad reflection on your brand, I did not expect such disappointing and misleading treatment/service from your group Salespeople: 1. I bought a BMW 3 series in March 2022 and requested a maintenance plan. I was advised that the maintenance plan is included in the total price of the vehicle as an extra and that it will also include servicing of the vehicle valid for 24 months. I discovered that this insurance policy they sold me is only for VW Vehicles and is not suitable for a BMW. I went back to them and requested that they change my maintenance plan or refund me the money they that I was charged for this product plus fixed interest of 11% p.a. over 72 months as per my credit agreement. They said they will send the funds back to the bank. I inquired why should I be suffering as a result of their negligence in selling me an incorrect product because I am unable to service my vehicle at the moment as a result of that. I spoke to the Sales Manager at Vw Mastercars Gezina and requested that he sends me something stating that it is their policy to send funds back to the bank after making this error so that I can send my complaint to the Ombudsman. He promised to send it within 24 hours when I visited their office beginning of September 2022. I have not heard from them since. In June 2022, I reported that the car's revs go up and down when in idle mode and sent it in to have that fixed but it was not fixed. I sent the car a second time again in August 2022 and I got the car back in a worst condition than I took it in. The revs were still unstable and it would idle and then switch off sometimes. I would like to be re-imbursed the financial loss I made as a result of being sold an incorrect product. Secondly I would like the revs of my car to be fixed so they remain stable because the dealership failed to fixed them on multiple occasions during the tenure of my 6 months warranty.

I bought a BMW 3 series in March 2022 and requested a maintenance plan. I was advised that the maintenance plan is included in the total price of the vehicle as an extra and that it will also include servicing of the vehicle valid for 24 months. I discovered that this insurance policy they sold me is only for VW Vehicles and is not suitable for a BMW. I went back to them and requested that they change my maintenance plan or refund me the money they that I was charged for this product plus fixed interest of 11% p.a. over 72 months as per my credit agreement. They said they will send the funds back to the bank. I inquired why should I be suffering as a result of their negligence in selling me an incorrect product because I am unable to service my vehicle at the moment as a result of that. They the worse customer service, once you take the car from them they ignore you...i have a problem with the radio of the car and it hasn't been a month since i bought the car ...and no one is assisting me

I bought a Opel Mokka who has had a noise at the door like wind blowing in when you drive over 120km, but apparently those people are Deafas me and my mother can hear it clearly. . The came to collect my car 3 times, drive out all my petrol, just put enough petrol in to get the car back to me. Still the door isn't fixed, the car has paint overspray but yet I'm being told it wasn't in an accident. They promised to remove it. They haven't, it's been two months still no number plates, every time I have to beg for new permits. The service hystorty wasn't completed in the book, was promised a printout ouf the services, nothing. The front brake pads are almost steel on steel but nothing is being done. I just get ignored. Now I get this ****y attitude, I musnt bother Jim after 5. Which never bothered him when he needed stuff from me before. Christiaan Louwies makes promises he never keeps, loves to ignore you and tell you lies to keep you quite. I now wonder if this car wasn't in an accident
