Bought a new Polo Life at the End of February 2025 at Fourways VW. I however reside in Pretoria East. I therefore required assistance from Menlyn VW with getting my number plates secured when I received them. A lady who sits near the coffee area and waiting area told me I must come back during the week as the person who owns the tool to assist with the pop rivet was not in on Saturdays. Can’t believe a huge dealership that sells cars on a daily cannot have such a tool readily available to help potential long terms clients. I then came back during the course of the following week only to be told the individual who owns the pop rivet tool is not willing to help me. I told the lady she had lost a long term client. Sad how you can lose a potential long term client so quickly. Just because I didn’t purchase my vehicle at Menlyn VW shouldn’t be a reason to turn a cold shoulder to a potential long term client as I would have used the dealership to take my car for services and possibly bought future vehicles at the dealership. Shocking stuff.

Very rude and arrogant. Tried booking a vehicle for service and the lady was absolutely rude i would never buy or take a car there for service. Bookings department at menlyn vw sucks.

I am disappointed by VW Menlyn for poorly attending to my issue. I traded in my old car which they were supposed to settle it with the bank that was financing me, 10 days laters they still haven't settled that account, I only got to find out when that bank debited my account. It was a Hassel to get back my refund from them which this affected my mental and financial wellbeing.

I am disappointed by VW Menlyn for poorly attending to my issue. This branch is really bad for business. We discussed a deal for tomorrow morning to purchase a vehicle cash at 14h00 today for tomorrow morning. They said it is ok and excepted that i couldn't pay a R1000 holding deposit and even send me the location as i was at the dentist and im on pension and can't do payments myself. I rely on my other half to do payments and she was not at home to do the payment. The sales person didn't do his work properly as he could've put a hold on it and he didn't and now 5 min to 17h00 they phoned to say they sold it. They could've phone me to come pay it in cash. Im on the other side of pretoria and traffic is hectic going there. I explained to him i had a knee operation and am not vèry mobile. How do you do business like that? They most probably got a kickback as the other purchaser bought on hp. Why didn't they tell the other buyer that the vehicle is taken? I bought a vehicle cash from them in 2021 and this is how they treat me. No a person don't do business like this. Who is going to cover my money spend to make it the money available from my investment to purchase the vehicle cash? I am extremely angry with their business acumen. Then they treated us badly and offered us another option for R200k more! Do they think they are funny. This shows you how your after service is going to be if you ever decide to do business with them. Giving Bidvest Mccarthy a bad reputation

Worst service ever! Never trust the work this people give. We bought your VW Polo brand new there and then the lock system is faulty. We bring in the car just to collect it after many hours of nothing being done on the system. They said they did order the wrong parts. So we bring in the car for the 2nd time, just to know that they could not fix it because the one that works on the cars is not there. So for the 3rd time we bought the car in just to drive 3km and just experience the same issue of the door system lock. And since (2 years later) nothing is yet changed and we drive a car that has a faulty door lock system. So please never use them for anything. Rather go to BMW or any other. VW Menlyn don't care about customers.

Good day As a client and customer I am not happy with VW Menlyn and with how they treat clients , I bought a car in December and still requesting for my requested documents and every time I make follow-ups with them they take me to pillow to post and I am not sure if it’s their delay tactics of pushing 6 months of CPA warranty which they are aware of I am sure but however if they think they will win over this delaying tactics of them, they have it all wrong, but whoever I will fight until I expose them, they are just not taking clients serious and it’s not my first complain by the way and nothing has been done and they are forever delaying, I am just waiting to surprise them and I will make them famous as well if it pushes me and that’s the experience I am currently having and dealing with, thank you.

I purchased my car 2 years ago and was never provided with a spare key and iv made follow ups but I have not received any feedback till to date and I require this to trade in my car I cannot Pay 5k for a spare key as it was not my fault.
