USELESS
WASP WiFi – Absolutely Useless Service and Zero Support I am beyond frustrated with WASP WiFi. Our internet has been offline for DAYS, yet all I get from support is the same useless excuse over and over again: “There is no technician in your area.” How is that my problem when I pay a large amount of money every month for a service that is more OFF than ON? If you cannot support an area, you should not be selling services there in the first place. Your support is a complete joke. • The support numbers give ZERO help • My messages are ignored • When I call, I’m constantly told “no agents available” • A “ticket is logged”, but nothing ever happens Apparently there is no one in the area who can fix it, so what exactly am I paying for? This is not a once-off issue — it is ongoing, and I am tired of excuses, silence, and empty promises. Internet is not a luxury anymore, it’s a basic service, and WASP is failing miserably at delivering it. If this is not resolved immediately, I will be taking this further and switching providers, because this level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional. Avoid WASP WiFi if you value reliable internet and actual customer support

A waste of money and time. One may as well consent to being ******.
It took over a month to get an installation date, which was only arranged after I started phoning them several times a week. Emails were not answered, calls were not returned and a proof of payment was required in order for an installation to be arranged officially - which meant that the company had us wait over a month before installing the routers we had already begun paying for. When two technicians arrived at the site, they completed their part of the installation process without delay. However, the router calibration, which was performed remotely, took over two hours. The download and upload speeds were not what was advertised for our chosen package, and I was informed that I would be phoned within a few hours to complete the calibration of the download and upload speeds. I did not receive a phone call, so I raised the issue with their support hotline on WhatsApp via text, and did not receive a response. A week later, I happened to be at the apartment during my own office hours, and received a phone call regarding the calibration of the download and upload speeds at that time. I did not have the time to stay on a phone call for the duration of the calibration, so I was told that the issue would be investigated in the meantime, and I arranged for a phone call in the afternoon (I was told that the chosen time would suit them as well). Almost two hours after the agreed-upon time, I have still not received a phone call. Beyond my own experience, many people living in my vicinity have complained about their internet being down, WASP's support line being unavailable, troubles with arranging installation dates and slow connection speeds. WASP has, by far, the worst service of any internet provider I have ever encountered. Except for the ridiculous delays with regards to the installation date, much of my own time has been wasted in attempting to contact WASP and waiting for phone calls and appointments scheduled for times agreed upon by myself as well as their team. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible service
We have been struggling 3 weeks now to get a technician from Exodus communications in Klerksdorp to come have a look why our wifi is down. They just dissappear from when the office says they are on the way and when you contact the office to ask where they are, the office is unable to reach technician and they just never show up. It is very frustrating and difficult for a student to keep buying extra data on cellphone just to be able to do basic things that is needed to be done for university.

Terrible service

WASP Global Solutions - Terrible Service
Since WASP has taken over from Wicotel the service has been terrible. Our internet speeds are so slow. We've been trying to get assistance from their "support" number and the only responses (if any) are false hopes i.e. technician will come out to see what the problem is, OR we're investigating. To-date there has been no technician and internet remains bad. I've cancelled. I can't recommend this crowd. It's been horrible journey.

Wasp is expensive for bad service
Very poor connection. Doesn't want to connect to the internet. Paying R900 for very **** wifi. The people take forever to get back to you. Won't recommend them to anyone

Wasp not delivering
I bough Wasp Wifi for my daughter in Potchefstroom. I received confirmation of payment, but the Wifi is not delivered. I tried phoning, sms as well... but no come back. My daughter is busy with her final exams and she needs internet for info she has to get for exams to learn!! Bad news!!

Unhelpful and Fraudulant

I have sms'd stop to various numbers, I have mailed, Vodacom cancells all subscriptions daily as well but the **** is just continuing... I have had this number for probably around 17 years now and have never ever had this problem... I am a single mother and has more brain cells to know that I need the little R300 airtime that I get monthly for better purposes... SOMEBODY is subscribing our numbers to this **** as I see I am not the only one complaining but you guys need to come to the party and investigate... I am considering a fraud case against all parties involved, so sure of my facts am I... </span></p>
