Yesterday at 10h00 I was at the walk in doctor at HillCrest Mall Pretoria.I have been seeing them for over three years for my diabetes condition. Every six months I do a followup and renew my prescription. On my arrival at reception they told me that they will not been seeing me. They are open and should be attending to all persons while open. How can they refuse patients. I need my medicine daily to control my sugar and a renewal was necessary because Discem will not supply me the medication that I need without a renewed prescription. I have to sit without my medicine because the doctor refused to see me. I am sure they have an ethical code to honour . To this doctor I say should be charged and dismissed and stripped of her license. Ek see this as malpractice.

My previous dentist retired and I broke my tooth on a Friday afternoon. No dentist was available in Pretoria and the only one who was charged over R700 for a consultation fee and did not take medical aids. Luckily someone told me about a dentist at the Hillcrest Boulevard Centre called the "Walkin Dentist". She was very friendly and helped me immediately. She was very gentle and her tariffs was very reasonable (they charge medical aid rates plus a 30% co-payment which ended up being only R250 or something like that.) The dentist even gave me a quote beforehand and asked permission for any work to be done- the others just do anything and only afterwards you discover that you were ripped off. Quality service dentist, quality service practice- I will never go to any other dentist in Pretoria.
