Avoid at all cost!!! We paid full amount upfront several days before arrival and upon arrival were harassed for best part of an hour while they find the credit card payment on their system. The place is old and tired. After we departed I received notification that another payment for the full amount went off my credit card again. Immediately contacted them and the said that they would refund. Days later and nothing yet!

Waterfront Village service doesn't deserve any STAR. Incompetent staff. Check-In is a tedious mission and half. Room Service is very untidy. I complain because, you pay to get a certain level of service but when the service is none existence, then its like been robbed. Shocking Service

I would advise never staying at any of these apartments as, I had 2 disgusting experiences. The 1st room I stayed in, the air conditioning didn't work and they made no attempt to fix it at all. I also found a piece of gum stuck in the carpet, there was no assistance from housekeeping. Thereafter I complained. I moved to another apartment at waterfront village. After entering the next room I found hair lying around in the kitchen, I called reception to request a cleaning, coffee pods and water. They didn't even show up, right until the end of my stay.

My sister stayed with Waterfront Village from 24 December 2019 to 2 January 2020. She is a NZ citizen and had paid a refundable deposit of R5742. Despite providing the necessary proof and details, and despite multiple emails and phone calls to various individuals including Patience, Nicole, Pumlani, Yasin, Charlene and others her deposit has not been refunded. This type of service is a disgrace to the South African travel industry and is tantamount to theft.
