I placed an order. It was suppose to take 4 weeks to deliver. Followed up after 4 weeks with an email - we will respond shortly. At 7 weeks they said they understand there are problems with the supplier but will communicate. At 8 weeks after phoning, what sapping and emailing, I had no response as the landline was not working and the website was also not live. I posted on a whatsapp group about my problems, got immediate reaction that I must take down my complain as they will respond. Company didn't make it and I was promised a refund or part thereof on both whatsapp and email. 2 months later - no response, no transparancy and no communication. Do not do business with this company as they couldn't be honest within the first 4 weeks of me placing an order.

I sadly have to post this review following a hugely traumatic experience dealing with Stephan Naude, the owner of Wave Aqua. After numerous requests to repay my money paid for a fish tank ordered and fully paid for fully online, delivery included, which he himself admitted on call, WhatsApp as well as Email, has been discontinued, and has been falsely advertised, we are still fighting one month later to get our money paid back, with no success, after numerous promises made by Stephan himself that this would be sorted out in 5 to 7 days, now almost 2 weeks ago. He changed his number and stopped responding to our numerous requests reimburse us for the money we paid for absolutely nothing and he had the cheek to send one msg back saying he can't take our call as he's dealing with a customer. What are we then?? We are taking this to SAPS and the only reason for posting this is to tell potential buers to please read the inline order comments before ordering ANYTHING online from this *****ilent business. You'll have an absolutely horrific service experience and you'll most likely never see any product or money paid ever again!! Use it, don't use it, my 5 cents is STAY AWAY!

I placed an order online for a fish tank and also paid a delivery fee on the 17th June and 3 weeks later had to call and find out where my order was. A guy called Stefan picked up and said they never placed my order and don't stock that item anymore, although it's advertised online and they were happy to take my payment. I asked for a refund on some WhatsApp number they have listed numerous times and am conveniently being ignored. It's now a month later and my numerous requests to refund me has fallen on deaf ears. This is nothing more than theft and I'll be taking legal steps next to get my money back. Stay away! This is a terrible company to order online from, no service whatsoever and turned out they're a bunch of ****** refusing to pay your money back!!!

I have had the worst online experience with this company. I ordered myself a Redtail catfish on the 4th of May 2023, i waited patiently for it to arive on the allocated delivery time schedule. 1 Week turned into 2 and 2 turned into 3. i am currently in my 4th week of waiting as when i messeged them a week ago on whatsapp i was told their store got flooded and i felt bad for them so i wished them the best recovery and waited. Another week goes by and i ask again whats going on and i start to hear the same sob story yet again, irritated yet still a bit sincere and waited another week. I messaged them again on the 26th of May 2023 saying to wait till monday for a responce, well its monday and i have yet to hear anything from them, this has honestly been my worst experience with any online store to date. The fact that there was no urgency to let a customer know their order would be delayed and that i would have to wait is quite unprofessional, as well as a customer having to contact you constantly is already a sign of bad business management as it shows you as a company do not care for customers having any problems. I am still livid and irritated at this level of unprofessional practice in a place of business where such a thing could be left to happen. I will also be writing a formal message directed towards them and the owner on my experience and how i will be expecting some form of compensation as this has been a very unpleasent experience with Wave Aqua, a supposedly "welltrusted by the community" business.

I hate this place so much every time I see an ad of them I just get beyond furious. They are ******* that’s all that they are I paid so much money and never received all of my items. And when I finally did receive some of it, it was packed in a broken box and in very poor condition I still have all the proof of over R2000 worth of items that they still to this day owe me. I am really very upset with these people they will gladly take all of your money and make sure you don’t get anything that you order. But I just hope they know to this day I still have all proof on my phone and I will most definitely not just leave it there and will definitely be handling this situation further cause I won’t let them rob me like this !!! DON’T BUY FROM THEM !!! THEY ARE ******* !!! THEY WILL ***** YOUR MONEY 😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
