Don't Use Waether Blinds Cape Town
Be very Careful before paying a deposit to this company to install your blind. We paid them a deposit about 6 months ago to install blinds at our patio. We did some alterations and informed them within 2 days to put it all on hold till we are finished. We asked them today to rather refund us our deposit as we will be doing this rather before winter around May. They inform us they will charge a 10% cancellation fee... after we complaint they informed us that it is for the very expensive material they had to purchase? never mind the fact they were earning interest on our deposit for over 6 months. To top it your 10% cancellation is not on your deposit amount paid but on your total cost to install the blinds! we purchased a R20 000 awning through them this year. They would rather penalize a client that would have still made us of them to profit on a cancellation. Totally disgusting!!!<br> <br> <br> We will never make us of them again<br>

As a SME, we pride ourselves in our excellent service to our customers. There are many suppliers of the same products, and we try and set ourselves apart by providing an excellent service. We clearly ask all our clients to make sure that they are aware of the terms and conditions that are involved when it comes to placing an order.
With regards to this particular situation, Weather Blinds had refunded the entire amount on the day of the complaint, prior to listing with Hello Peter. Although the Cross family did let us know to hold on with the order, they did not cancel it. They requested we hold back until their renovations had been completed. As such, we ordered the relevant materials to ensure that we could proceed with installation once the other renovations were done.
Mr and Mrs Cross are repeat customers and were very happy with their previous installation.
We are truly saddened that the relationship with Mr and Mrs Cross has deteriorated even though we fully refunded their deposit without penalty.
We install on average 8 blinds per day and our clients are very happy with the service and products.
