I took my car to a service at WIESS VW in Durban and came back with a huge scratch on the driver's door. Wiess doesn't want to take accountability for that. They are the worst VW on the planet do not take your car to VW Wiess in durban you will regret it.

I took my vehicle to VW Weiss Motor for a major service. I was contacted by the service advisor and informed that the vehicle was ready for collection. When I arrived the following day to collect my vehicle, I was shocked to be told by another service advisor that the service had not been completed at all. My vehicle was left in a disassembled and unacceptable condition, causing major inconvenience and frustration. To make matters worse, no manager was on duty to address the situation. This left me with no option but to contact Kevin Pillay, Divisional Executive, in an attempt to escalate the matter. Unfortunately, this escalation was of no real assistance. Instead of addressing the seriousness of the failure, Mr Pillay appeared more focused on defending the dealership and its staff, rather than taking accountability or offering a meaningful resolution. This reflects a clear lack of leadership and oversight at this branch. During my interaction with staff, it also became apparent that internal issues and poor management are well known within the dealership, which explains the level of disorganisation and poor service delivery. This experience has completely eroded my trust in VW Weiss Motor. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this branch and rather consider alternatives such as Alpine VW, McCarthy VW, or Baron VW, where professionalism and customer service are taken seriously.
