Wellies Refrigeration came to my home on Monday 11 March to repair my Fridge/freezer. A gentleman arrived, gassed my fridge and cleaned the motor. He ASSURED me that the freezer will ice up in a few hours. He also demanded R2950 .00 IN CASH !! This was 5.15pm and too late to get to the bank. I offered to transfer the money into their bank account but was told that they are having a problem with their bank account. My husband rushed to an ATM to get the cash. Needless to say the freezer did not work. Since Tuesday I have called, sms'ed, left voice messages to the co number and the cell number of Brandon who worked on my fridge, but to no avail. The gentleman answering their office cell number yesterday PROMISED me he will be here today (Saturday) before 3pm , but his phone is off and when I called Brandon at 4pm he just hung up on me, when he heard my voice. What recourse do I have ?
