I had one of the worst experiences at this guesthouse. We checked in around 14:30 and were met with poor service from the start. Despite raising several concerns, our complaints were repeatedly dismissed and not resolved.
The water from the taps was cold to lukewarm the entire time, making it impossible to enjoy a proper shower. The jacuzzi never warmed up, and the air conditioning unit did not produce any heat, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. The Wi-Fi was unreliable—we had to use our own data to stay connected.
We communicated these issues to the staff who welcomed us and even sent follow-up messages to the provided contact numbers (067 412 1806 and 062 919 7047). We were only told to “be patient,” with no actual resolution or further assistance offered. All of this continued throughout the first day and even into the following morning. We had already been giving them a lot of grace, but that didn’t stop them from being disrespectful and defensive when we continued to voice our concerns about the inconveniences.
The lack of communication and follow-through was incredibly frustrating. We felt completely ignored and dismissed, which is unacceptable—especially considering the price we paid for the "Presidential Suite." We had limited time for our stay and unfortunately spent most of it dealing with discomfort and poor service.
This was meant to be a relaxing getaway, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. I would not recommend this guesthouse based on our experience. We vacated the premises at 10:45am on the 24th of May as we could not continue our stay. The guest went on to gaslight us by saying our issues were attended to personally by the guy who was around. Nothing was addressed; instead, we were dismissed and gaslighted. I would highly NOT recommend this Guesthouse because of the poor service.
