Shop around
The manager lady looked us up and down and said she's busy with a client, none to be seen. The rest of the team were clustered atound the computer area enjoying a chat. I chose a new bed and asked if a solid base was possible because the sealy mattress people do not want slats, answer, get your own extra slats! AND To deliver from Durbanville to Somerset West R3000. Went round the corner to Eco and bought the same bed, solid base, R700 delivery. Weylandts customer services reused to give me the owners email address.

Cloud Bed
I recently purchased the Cloud Bed (Como Sand) from Weylandts and, while the design is absolutely beautiful and the quality looks premium, I’ve been extremely disappointed with the comfort of the headboard. The headboard is very firm and completely upright, with almost no give, which makes it impossible to sit comfortably in bed. Even with additional pillows, the pressure on my back is severe. I’ve tried multiple cushion combinations, but nothing helps — the angle and hardness of the headboard causes significant back pain every time I try to sit up. For a piece in this price range, I expected far better ergonomic comfort. The bed looks gorgeous, but it’s not functional for everyday use, especially for anyone who reads or works in bed. I’m hoping Weylandts will provide guidance or a solution, because right now I’m really struggling with this purchase and I’m disappointed given the investment.
